  • IMPORTANT INFORMATION

    SVARBU: Pasų centre - VFS Global Office - Lietuvos Respublikos piliečiai gali pateikti dokumentus tik dėl turimo paso ir asmens tapatybės kortelės keitimo. Asmenys, kurie norėtų pateikti dokumentus dėl pirmo paso vaikams, paso po santuokos ar praradę savo asmens dokumentą bus ir toliau aptarnaujami Lietuvos ambasadoje Londone.

    Applying for a Lithuanian passport and/or ID card in a Passport Center - VFS Global Office in London.

    • Book an appointment (click here) at the Passport Centre - VFS Global Office if: you have to renew your or your child’s current passport / ID card.
    • Book an appointment at the Embassy in the UK if: your Passport / ID card is lost or stolen, or you are changing your name after marriage; or if it is the first passport application for a child, or you are applying on behalf of a minor / a third party by proxy consent via a court of law.

      Apply for a Lithuanian passport or ID card through the VFS Global Offices in London on weekdays (Monday to Friday) between 9:00 to 12:00 & 13:00 to 16:00
    • VFS charges a standard application fee (additionally to passport price) for applications at the London office.

    • All applications will be forwarded to the Lithuanian Embassy in the UK for assessment.
  • PREPARE YOUR SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS

    Get the required documents:

    It is important for your passport or ID card application that you bring the correct documents with you.

    • For every document submitted, you must provide the original (to show at the counter) and a photocopy of the holder page of your passport/ID card (to be attached to the passport file).
    • It is imperative that the photograph submitted at the time of application must fall within the specifications (Click Here). Unacceptable photographs that do not meet the specifications, will not be accepted for submission.

  • HOW TO APPLY

    First: schedule an appointment

    Before you visit the VFS Global Office in London, you will need to make an appointment using the online passport/ID appointment system (Click Here).

    You can only book individual appointment in the online appointment system.

    Please state the full name of each applicant, date of birth and type of document (passport or ID card) for each applicant.

    Second: Visit the VFS Global Office

    Please note the following:

    • Bring your current Lithuanian passport or ID card and a photo.
    • Bring your and child’s Lithuanian passport, or ID card and a photo if it is a child’s application.
    • Bring filled and signed declaration of the place of residence (a separate form for each person).
    • All applicants should attend in person (including minors).
    • Ensure you read the security regulations before your visit.

    Processing time

    It takes an average of 3-4 weeks to process an application.

    When you apply for your passport or ID card, you will receive a track & trace code. This allows you to track the status of your application online.
