After submission of documents at the Visa Application Centre

The minimum processing time of a visa application is 15 days. Applicants are advised to leave enough time between the appointment date and travel date to have their visa application processed. No guarantees can be given on the visa application’s return date as delays may occur.

If you have availed the SMS tracking service, you will receive SMS and email alerts, once the processed application is couriered or is ready for collection at the Visa Application Centre. These alerts will be received on the mobile number and email address provided while submitting the visa application.

Processed passports received from the Embassy of the Netherlands will be kept at the Visa Centre for 30 calendar days. Post that period the passports will be returned to the Embassy of the Netherlands.

Passport Collection – Monday to Friday between 15:00 and 16:00, except Declared Holidays .

During the passport collection at the Visa Application Centre it is required to provide the following:

  • Original payment receipt that was provided by the officer during documents submission.
  • Photo ID.

Applicants unable to collect in person may authorise another person to collect the passport on their behalf. The authorised person will need to bring the passport photocopy with the stapled receipt, an authorisation letter signed by the applicant, and proof of identity with photo.
