IMPORTANT - Closure Appointment System for NIK Applications – July 12 until 2 August- During this period NIK Applications cannot be accepted in any of the VFS Netherlands Passport/ ID Card Centres UK, therefore please do not book appointments for NIK.

VFS Netherlands Passport/ ID Centre opens in Birmingham on 26th May 2021. Customers can submit applications at VFS Centres in London, Birmingham and Edinburgh by prior appointment.

Your safety is our priority. As part of precautionary measures, customers visiting our Application Centres are required to wear face mask and gloves.

Customers exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms, including cough and difficulty breathing will be allowed to reschedule their application submission for another day and will be advised to seek medical attention.

Please also note that

• Limited number of customers will be allowed inside the Application Centre at any one time. A pre booked appointment is required.
• Only the main applicant will be allowed inside the Centre.

Applying for a Dutch passport or ID card in London and Edinburgh

The Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs enables Dutch citizens to apply for a Dutch passport or ID card through the VFS Global Offices in London and Edinburgh, on weekdays during regular office hours. At the VFS Global Office in London you can also apply on Monday to Friday evenings and Saturday mornings.

All applications will be forwarded to the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs for assessment. VFS charges a standard service fee and a prime time fee for applications at the London office on Monday to Friday evenings and Saturday mornings.
