VFS Global is the official outsourcing partner for consular services for the Kingdom of the Netherlands. All passport and ID card applications will be sent to and assessed by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- No ID card applications processed from 16-12-2020 to 04-01-2021, 09.00 NL time.
- No passport applications processed from 30-12-2020, 16.00 NL time to 01-01-2021, 00.00 NL time.
- The Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs is introducing a new travel document system. Passport and ID card applications can temporarily not be processed during the periods mentioned.
- In case of extreme urgency, please contact VFS as soon as possible for personal advice.
- If you have already booked an appointment for either an ID card or a passport application during the periods mentioned, please contact VFS to reschedule your appointment.
- Please note, Additional COVID19-fee of CAD 7.80 will be charged at the time of submission until 31 December 2021.
- Due to COVID-19, all passports will be returned through UPS courier service at cost of CAD 50 until 31 December 2021
