3 SIMPLE STEPS

• *Customers must be physically present in the US when applying for any of the visa category or residency visa for Portugal through the VFS Portugal Visa Application Center.
• *All documents that must be notarized as per Embassy checklist, should be done at Notary Public in the state where customer legally resides in the USA i.e. as per the address proof submitted by the applicant for US state in the application documents.
• *Check the jurisdiction restrictions before submitting your application at the Washington DC, Portugal VFS Visa Application Center.

According to the latest update of The Embassy of Portugal we will be accepting applications ONLY for the below visas types until further notice. Please make sure you fall under the below categories of visas before booking your appointment. You may also send your documents by mail within the below-listed requirements and JURISDICTIONS.

• Temporary stay visa for transfer of workers purposes for state parties to the WTO, for provision of services or professional training – E2
• Temporary visa for research – E4
• Student visas E6 and D4
• Independent work/startup visa – D2
• Highly qualified activity or cultural purposes, as well as, highly qualified subordinate activity –D3
• Family reunification – D6
• National Visa-D7

IMPORTANT:

• Please be advised that following DC Mayor Orders, Washington D.C has imposed an emergency travel order for travelers entering or returning to DC from certain high-risk areas staring Monday 27th, 2020. Visit the below links to verified if your state of residence it is listed and follow the restrictions.

The Consulates in Washington D.C, San Francisco and New York City confirmed we will be accepting applications for all National visas categories.
