    Mandatory online lodgement change to Visitor Visa (subclass 600) all stream

    From 30 September 2021, all customers applying for a Visitor Visa (subclass 600) from outside Australia in any stream must lodge their application online via ImmiAccount. Customers applying for a Visitor visa (subclass 600) in Australia in the Tourist stream may lodge their application online via ImmiAccount or by posting their application to the Sydney office. The courier option will no longer be available.

    The Australian Visa Application Centre in Cambodia will resumed limited operations from 20 May 2021 for Biometrics collection, strictly by appointment. Paper applications will not be accepted by mail or at the office. You can apply online for most visa and citizenship applications at: https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/help-support/tools

    Current operational days and timing for the AVAC, except public holidays, is:

    • Operational days: Monday and Thursday
    • Operational timings: 08:00 am to 03:00 pm

    Customers are required to make a prior appointment before visiting the centre as no walk-in appointments or in-person information services will be available. Customers needing assistance with completing their Visa form online can avail the service at the Visa Application Centre, for an additional fee. Please make this selection at the time of making your appointment.

    Travel restrictions are in place and subject to change. You cannot come to Australia unless you are in an exempt category or you have been granted an individual exemption to the current travel restrictions.     Upcoming changes to child visas – effective 01 April 2020

    The Department of Home Affairs have advised - 01 April 2020, all new applications for these following visa subclasses:

    • Child (Subclass 101)
    • Adoption (Subclass 102)
    • Orphan Relative (Subclass 117)
