Postal Application

Applicants residing in Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan applying for Australian visa can mail the visa applications directly to the Australian Visa Application Centre (AVAC) in Hong Kong with visa fee payable to Australian Consulate General Hong Kong and service charge/courier fee payable to AVAC Hong Kong. If applicants choose sending applications via post, applicant must prepare for two bank drafts for the full amount in HKD, one for Visa fees and the other for services fees.

A correct visa application form of current design date should be completed and signed by the applicants. To view / download the current design date forms, kindly visit Applications and Forms.

The visa application form along with the other documents and passport should be packed in a strong envelope to ensure safe delivery. The application will not be accepted from the courier personnel, in case envelope received is in torn or damaged condition.

Applicants should ensure that 2 separate payment slips are included in application for:

  • The Visa Fee payable to the Australian Consulate General Hong Kong.
  • The VFS service and courier charge payable to Glory Visa Consulting Company Limited.

The following details should be mentioned on a cover letter in the envelope:

  • Number of applications in the envelope.
  • Applicant’s name
  • Applicant’s Chinese or English return address
  • Applicant’s contact telephone numbers and email

All visas for clients residing in Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan are processed "label free". Please provide a copy of your passport with your application. You do not need to provide your original passport to us. Further information on "label free" arrangements is available on our website:
