Due to COVID-19 outbreak, the VAC may be implementing additional measures to ensure health and safety of applicants.

By following guidelines coming from Government of Rwanda, Belgium Visa applications center in Kigali will remain close for temporary period of time starting from 01 July 2021.

Belgium Visa application center will not operate until further notice .

Applicant who has already booked an appointment to submit their visa application, they can utilize their appointment when we start the operations again*.

Concerning travels to the other Schengen countries represented by the Embassy of Belgium, please contact the Embassy of the country concerned in order to obtain an authorization for the Embassy of Belgium to accept your visa application.

The Visa application Centre in Kigali accept applications after taking prior appointment on our website Please click here to schedule an appointment. Applicants can submit their visa application without prior appointment between 09:00 to 11:00 on every working day.

Please note that the VFS service fee for Belgium visa application is set to change from 01 January 2021. The fee will be increased by Euro 5.5 per application (charged in local currency).
