GB Srithar
Head - Tourism Services
GB Srithar has joined VFS Global as Head - Tourism Services, effective 1 February 2024. He is based in Dubai and reports to Jiten Vyas, Chief Commercial Officer & Head - Business Development.
Srithar heads the Tourism Services department globally, managing client relationships and business development for existing and new Tourism accounts. He comes with comprehensive knowledge on the operating environment and socio-political landscape in IMESA (India, Middle East, South Asia & Africa) regions, especially India. He has built a strong connection with the Indian travel trade industry over the years and will leverage this network to support VFS Global’s business objectives.
Srithar has over 33 years of experience across HR, Marketing & Branding, and Business Development, primarily in the Tourism industry where, in his last assignment, he served as the Regional Director Singapore Tourism Board (STB), for India, Middle East, South Asia, and Africa (RDIMESA).

Maria Del Rocio Avila Ramos has been appointed as Data Protection Officer, effective 1 November 2023. She is based in Madrid, Spain. In addition to her existing role as Data Privacy & Protection Counsel, she works with the General Counsel and the business to ensure full compliance with all privacy and data protection regulations and obligations.

Head of Digital
Rahul Bhuraria has been appointed as Head of Digital at VFS Global, effective 6 March 2024. He is based in Mumbai GSO and reports to Dhiren Savla, Chief Information Officer.
He leads cross-functional teams that include product management, engineering, delivery and support. He focuses on development of technology innovations, delivery, and management of digital platforms including AMS and eVisa.
He is also actively involved in building and rolling out key products and solutions including B2C offerings of OneVasco.
