The Embassy of Croatia, Nur-Sultan is pleased to announce the opening of the Visa Application Centres in Almaty.
This website provides information on procedures applicable to Kazakhstan residents who wish to apply for a Croatian Visa not exceeding 90 days in a six months period to travel to Croatia. If you wish to reside in Croatia for an extended period of time (more than 90 days), you need to contact directly the Embassy of Croatia in Nur-Sultan

Customers who wish to apply for a visa to Croatia are requested to read the information on this website carefully. The guidelines listed on this website will help to prepare documents accurately and will reduce a risk of an application being incomplete or taking longer time for processing. Visa Category chosen by an customer must be based on the purpose of travel to Croatia and this decision is required to be made personally by the customers – Visa Application Centres staff will not be able to assist you taking this decision.
Customers can visit Visa Application Centres without prior appointment in order to submit their applications or receive a free consultation. All minors must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian at the time of application submission.
Applications collected by the Visa Application Centres will be sent to the Embassy of Croatia in Nur-Sultan for further assessment and resolution. Visa Application Centre staff has no say in the visa decisions taken by the Croatian Embassy.
Please note: the information on this website mainly addresses Kazakhstani citizens. Different terms may apply to the nationals of other countries.
The Embassy of Croatia in Nur-Sultan competent for:
Foreign permanent residents who are legally residing on the territory of Kazakhstan.
Non- Kazakhstani citizens have to present the original and a copy of Kazakhstani residence permit during the submission for a visa.
Please pay your attention that according to temporary facilitation of entrance on the territory of the Republic of Croatia for foreign nationals you are not required to have Croatian visa if:
You have a valid residence permit issued by one of the Schengen member states, Bulgaria, Cyprus or Romania.
You are a holder of a valid short term visa with double or multiple entries issued by one of the Schengen member states, Bulgaria, Cyprus or Romania (type C).
You are a holder of a valid long term visa issued by one of the Schengen member states, Bulgaria, Cyprus or Romania (type D).
Mentioned above Schengen permits/visas should be valid at least until the date of leaving the territory of Croatia.
