NEW ONLINE VISA APPLICATION: From the 01 July 2019, you should fill in your visa application and pay the application fee online using https://applyvisa.um.dk/. After you have applied and paid the visa fee online, you must print and sign the cover letter from ApplyVisa and hand in supporting documents and supply biometrics at the Visa Application Centre
From 01 July 2019, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark including all Danish diplomatic missions are introducing online payment of the embassy fee for residence or work permit. The embassy fee should be paid online using this link https://dys.um.dk/permit/. The receipt for the payment should be submitted at the Danish Visa Application Centre (VFS) when you hand in your passport, relevant documentation and supply biometrics. Please note that in R/W permit cases there are three fees to be paid. 1) The fee to either The Danish Immigration Service or The Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration (SIRI), 2) the fee to the Danish embassy (using the link https://dys.um.dk/permit/) and 3) the fee to the Danish Visa Application Centre (VFS).

From 10 June 2016 it will no longer be possible to submit new applications for a Greencard.
Please find below a message received from SIRI (The Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration).
“Regarding the Greencard Scheme and the Pay Limit Scheme
The Greencard Scheme is repealed with effect from 10 June 2016. Applications for a residence permit under the Greencard Scheme submitted before 10 June 2016 will be processed.
Accompanying family members to greencard holders can also apply for a residence permit and extension of their residence permit. This applies whether the accompanying family member submits the application before or after 10 June 2016.”
The minimum amount of the Pay Limit Scheme has been increased from DKK 375,000 to DKK 400,000 with effect from 10 June 2016. This applies for applications submitted from 10 June 2016 onwards. The minimum amount will be adjusted each year on 1 January.”

New outsourcing partner
Our new outsourcing partner is VFS Global. VFS Global will be accepting applications for Denmark from their offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland from Monday the 8th of September. Appointments for the 8th of September and onwards can be booked with VFS Global from the 1st of September either by telephone or through their website, which will go live on the 1st or 2nd of September.
