You can also apply for a short-term visa, only if your purpose of visit is listed on the website of the Danish police https://politi.dk/en/travel . Once you have identified that you are eligible for applying, we ask you to fill in application form on MFA’s portal - https://applyvisa.um.dk/ , collect required documents for your application, schedule an appointment, and come to visa centre.
You can apply your documents from 10:00 hrs to 12:00 hrs by appointment. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS TO DENMARK
The Danish Government has implemented extensive restrictions on entry to Denmark due to the Corona virus/COVID-19. These restrictions mean that you must expect to be rejected at the Danish borders even with a valid visa.
The only exceptions are foreign travelers who have a valid visa AND a worthy purpose for entering. Worthy purposes include travelers who are either parents or primary caretakers (e.g. foster parents) of minors residing in Denmark, visits to critically ill family members, persons who are in the process of a medical treatment in Denmark, persons who are attending a funeral in Denmark, and persons who will be part of a court case in Denmark.

From 01 August 2019 documents for a short-term and long-term visa to Denmark are accepted strictly with the application form completed online and the payment of the visa fee online, using the link ApplyVisa.um.dk. After completing the application form and paying the visa fee, the customer must print a cover letter from the ApplyVisa portal and submit it along with the rest of the documents at the visa application center.
