Our offices in Ankara and Istanbul-Beyoğlu will continue to provide limited service on Wednesdays and Fridays. Our Antalya and Izmir Application Centers will continue to provide limited services only on Wednesdays. • Due to the current entry restrictions to Denmark, all Danish visa application centers are closed. Applicants who have handed in their visa application prior to 19 March 2020 will have their case processed. For more information, visit the website of Royal Danish Embassy in Ankara, tyrkiet.um.dk.
  • The Danish Government has implemented extensive restrictions on entry to Denmark due to the Corona virus/COVID-19. These restrictions mean that you must expect to be rejected at the Danish borders even with a valid visa. The only exceptions are foreign travelers who have a valid visa AND a worthy purpose for entering. Worthy purposes include travelers who are either parents or primary caretakers (e.g. foster parents) of minors residing in Denmark, visits to critically ill family members, persons who are in the process of a medical treatment in Denmark, persons who are attending a funeral in Denmark, and persons who will be part of a court case in Denmark. Ordinary tourist visits, family visits and business travel are not considered worthy travel purposes. Applications will be submitted to the Danish Immigration Service for consideration. Case processing times may be extended. For more information please visit the Danish Immigration Service newtodenmark.dk.
  • Courier return of passports made mandatory for visa customers

in light of the COVID-19 alert and keeping in mind the health and safety of our customers and employees, the courier service for return of passports to visa customers has been made mandatory.

Customers no longer need to visit the Visa Application Centre to pick up their passport once it is ready for collection – the passport will be couriered to their location of choice (serviceable by our courier partner, UPS).

The courier service has been made mandatory for a temporary period to limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus and reduce the footfall at the Visa Application Centre.

During this period, VFS Global will offer a reduced price on courier fees, at 76 TL inclusive of taxes.

We will post an update on this page when the courier service is made optional again. We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

  • The Danish Government has implemented extensive precautionary measures due to the Corona virus/COVID-19.

You can still apply for a visa to Denmark, however additional restrictions on entry into Denmark might be imposed in the coming days. These include, among other things, the possibility of medical examination on arrival, possible quarantine on arrival from high risk areas and the possibility of rejection of foreigners arriving from high risk areas at the border.

Please stay updated on the website from Danish Immigration Service and the website for information from the Danish authorities. For information on precautionary health measures implemented in Denmark, please visit the Danish Health Authorities’ website.
