Important information when entering Denmark
If you arrive from a country classified as a banned country, you must present proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken no more than 72 hours before entry. If you fail to present such a test, you must expect to be refused entry as from Monday, 26 October 2020.

In light of the COVID-19 alert and keeping in mind the health and safety of our customers and employees, the courier service for return of passports to Ireland visa customers has been made mandatory.
Customers no longer need to visit the Visa Application Centre to pick up their passport once it is ready for collection the passport will be couriered to their location of choice (serviceable by our courier partner, Aramex).
The courier service has been made mandatory for a temporary period to limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus and reduce the footfall at the Visa Application Centre.
We will post an update on this page when the courier service is made optional again. We apologies for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
VFS Global is now open for visa applications from customers who have a worthy purpose of travel as listed on the website of the Danish police. Customers with worthy purposes and travelers to Iceland can submit applications but must contact The Danish Consulate at email@example.com before booking an appointment for the Schengen Visa application submission. Customer wishing to apply for Long Term Stay Visa can book your appointment at https://www.vfsglobal.com/denmark/uae/schedule-an-appointment.html. Submission of applications is only through appointments.
Visa Applicants must meet the normal Schengen requirements.
Increased fees for visa applications
Please note: As of 02 February 2020 the Schengen visa fee per person (Short Stay Visa) will increase from 60 to 80 euros or the equivalent amount in your local currency. For children between 6-12 years old the visa fee will increase to 40 euros or equivalentIn accordance with the new Visa Code article 10(1) an applicant does not need to appear in person when lodging an application if fingerprints were collected from the applicant within the last 59 months.
Important Notice: Introduction of VAT component on service charges at the Visa Application Centre
The United Arab Emirates has announced the introduction of VAT (Value Added Tax) effective Monday, 01 January 2018, at a standard rate of 5%. VAT will be collected on taxable supplies of goods and services in the UAE, wherever applicable.
In accordance with the new VAT Law, VFS GCC LLC will be required to charge and collect VAT on services provided at the Application Centres and pay it to the Federal Tax Authority. VAT is a consumption tax that end users (applicants) shall pay and VFS GCC LLC will play the role of a collection agent on behalf of the taxation authority.
