Citizen Facilitation Centre Launched For Residents Of Manipur, India

VFS Global’s Identity & Citizen Services (ICS) vertical has launched a Citizen Facilitation Centre (CFC) in Imphal, Manipur. The centre in this North-Eastern state of India offers approximately 10 civic services, as well as a host of sub-services, all under a single roof, thereby ensuring time and cost savings for the applicant. While the first centre has been rolled out in the city of Imphal in Manipur, a second centre is slated to open as part of the second phase of this project.

The centre has commenced the delivery of services for three major areas - E-district services related to the revenue department and employment exchange; Transport services; and visa services through a drop-box application services for Estonia, Thailand, Italy and Vietnam.

Additionally, the CFC will also provide citizen support services such as information dissemination, online PAN card and passport support, assisted form filling, etc to offer an enhanced experience.
