Is it required to come in person to the Visa Centre to collect passport?
Coming in person to the Visa Centre to collect passport is not necessary. The passport can also be collected by the applicant’s representative (against the power of attorney) or delivered to the applicant’s address by the courier service. The courier service can be ordered at the Visa Centre at time of submission of documents. Please note that the passport can be sent back to the applicant’s address only within the territory of the Russian Federation. Which documents are required to present to collect passport at the Visa Centre?
To collect his/her passport at the Visa Centre an applicant will need to show the service agreement with the receipt on it and the applicant’s national passport. If the passport is collected by the applicant’s representative it is required to show the service agreement with the receipt on it, power of attorney from the applicant and the representative’s passport with the copy of the main page.
Where am I able to appeal a decision made?
The applicant may appeal a decision made by the Directorate of Immigration to the Immigration Appeals Board. An appeal shall be sent to the Icelandic Directorate of Immigration, Skógarhlíð 6, 105 Reykjavík, Iceland within 15 days of receiving the decision
