VFS Services (UK) Ltd is a trusted partner to “The Government of India” in France and manages the administrative function of the Visa, Passport, OCI, PIO and Miscellaneous Consular Services application process.

Step 2 Before you decide to apply for a visa please make sure you familiarize yourself with the information on the visa subclass you are applying for. Quick links to information on visa categories and other helpful information including Visa Fee, VFS Service Charge and Processing Time can be found on the Visa Wizard page on this website.

Step 3 Applicants should fill the Visa Application Form corresponding to the visa subclass under which they wish to lodge their application. Applicants can get the visa application form by visiting the nearest Australia Visa Application Centre or by downloading the forms from Applications and Forms.

  • IMPORTANT INFORMATION COVID 19 – RESUMPTION OF LIMITED SERVICES:

    We will be resuming a very limited service by appointment only from Tuesday 2 June 2020 in Clichy, and from Thursday 4 June in Lyon and Marseille for the following categories of application:

  • Indian passport and consular services

  • OCI

    Visa services remain suspended.

  • Visa application form for extreme urgent cases only
  • It has been decided that the following VFS Centres will be closed with effect from 01 April 2020:

    1. Strasbourg: 20, place des Halles, 67000 Strasbourg, Tour Europe-13th Floor
    2. Bordeaux : 81, Boulevard Pierre 1er, 33110 Le Bouscat, Bordeaux
    3. Thereon, applicants seeking Visa, Passport, OCI and other Consular services are requested to approach the VFS Centres located at Paris, Marseille or Lyon.

  • It has been decided to introduce a mandatory verification step of personal interview of all OCI applicants who apply for registration as OCI cardholder on spouse basis under section 7A(1)(d) of Citizenship Act, 1955. Therefore, it is requested that from now onward all spouse based OCI applicants must visit the Embassy for interview between 9:30 and 11:30 (Monday to Friday) before applying at VFS.
  • It is advised that Biometric data for all following categories of Visas should be collected with immediate effect:

    1. Student Visa
    2. Research Visa
    3. Employment Visa
    4. Missionary Visa
    5. Project Visa
    6. Journalist Visa
    7. Visit Visa (Pakistani Nationals)
    8. Tourist and Business Visas with multiple entries
    9. Entry Visa
    10. Conference Visa
    11. Transit Visa
    12. Medical Visa
    13. Medical attendant visa
    14. Films Visa
    15. Internship Visa
    16. Mountaineering Visa
    17. Urgent Category Visa

  • It has been decided to compulsorily capture the biometrics of overseas citizens of India (OCI) applicants during registration as OCI cardholders. All applicants are therefore advised to kindly give their biometrics at the time of submission of their applications at VFS.
