  • Effective 01 December 2020

    The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Government of India (GOI) has decided to extend the existing Passport Seva (PSP) system, as currently used by Indian Regional Passport Offices (RPO) to render passport services.

    Please take note of the new process for submission of applications for Fresh/Re-issue of Passports and Police Clearance Certificates.

    This is applicable to Cape Town, Durban & Johannesburg Visa Application Centers.

    Kindly complete all necessary forms on the portal before scheduling an appointment.

    Johannesburg Centre- Monday to Friday - 08:00 hrs - 15:00 hrs

    Address: 2nd Floor Harrow Court 1, 11 Boundary road, Houghton, Johannesburg, South Africa.

    Durban Centre – Monday, Wednesday and Friday - 09:00 hrs-13:00 hrs

    Address: Unit 409, 4th Floor , 91-123 Cowey Road(Problem Mkhize), Essenwood , Durban, South Africa.

    Cape Town Centre - Monday, Wednesday and Friday - 09:00 hrs-13:00 hrs

    Address: 47 Strand Street, 5th Floor Office 502, Cape Town, South Africa.

    Please note only applications by appointment will be assisted.

    Kindly note due to COVID-19 no Family/Group appointments will be allowed, only individual appointments will be accepted at the Application Centre

    Owing to the COVID -19 development and directives by the Government of South Africa, the India Visa Application Centres will now be able to operate as per the level 3 regulations as from the 08 June 2020. Please note only applications by appointment will be assisted.

    We have a very important update for our customers in South Africa regarding the functioning of our India Visa and Consular Service Application Centres.

    As the safety of our customers and staff is our priority, we have implemented strict health and safety measures in line with Government guidelines for social distancing at our Application Centres. On arrival at the Visa Application Centre, you will be required to undergo a temperature reading. Customers exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms, including fever (higher than 37.3 degrees celsius), cough and difficulty in breathing will be allowed to reschedule their appointments for another day and not proceed further for their applications.

    For your safety, kindly adhere to the precautionary measures at our Centres. All processed applications will be subject to accepting the mandatory courier service to reduce the number of visits to the Centre.
