Update on COVID-19: Additional Travel Advisory issue by Government of India dated 05 March 2020
In addition to Visa restrictions already in place, passengers traveling from /having visited Italy or Republic of Korea and desirous of entering India will need certificate of having tested negative for COVID-19 from the designated laboratories authorized by the health authorities of these countries. This will be enforced from 00:00 Hrs of 10 March 2020 and is a temporary measure till cases of COVID-19 subside.

Introduce few changes in our visa policy
Due to the nationwide spreading of COVID-19, India Embassy is going to introduce few changes in the visa policy. Customers are hereby requested to implement the same with immediate effect. It will be in operation till further orders.
1) Customer is required to submit a printed self declaration form
2) All Visa customers have to appear for the interview at Consular section of Embassy of India.
Interviews can be scheduled through the visa application center only and held from 9:00 hrs to 12:00 hrs on a first come, first served basis
3) Customer should take prior appointment before visiting the visa application centre.
