Typically, verification is completed within 18 days after you have submitted all of your documents. The Qualification Recognition process is completed in two separate steps:

• Step 1: Verification Process

This step is facilitated by VFS Global as the authorised partner of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MoHESR). The applicable fee for this step is AED 645, which is clearly outlined in the applicant journey on the official MoHESR website and is payable to VFS Global for verification services.

• Step 2: Qualification Recognition Report (Ministry Stage)

After successful verification, applicants must proceed directly on the MoHESR portal to request the Qualification Recognition Report. This step is handled exclusively by the Ministry and carries a separate fee of AED 150, which is payable directly to MoHESR.

As the AED 150 fee relates to a Ministry managed stage and not the verification process, it does not appear on the VFS portal.
