Since 29 June 2020 the Netherlands Visa Application Centre is receiving applications by appointment only for the Seafarer Visa category.

As per instruction from Dutch Regional Support Office Asia in Kuala Lumpur, VFS will have to stop to receiving the visa application process starting from 18 March 2020 until Monday 6 April 2020. Applicant who already has an appointment between 18 March 2020 – 6 April 2020 is requested to reschedule/cancel your appointment through our website (https://www.vfsglobal.com/netherlands/indonesia/) . Please be aware that the time frame of 18 March 2020 / 06 April 2020 may be extended either by local authorities or by Dutch Regional Support Office Asia authorities. Visa applicants are encouraged to wisely schedule the submission at The Netherlands Visa Application Centre to match their travel arrangements.

As a precautionary measure to avoid the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), all customers visiting the Visa Application Center in Jakarta are required to have their body temperature checked before entering the Centre.
For customers with an appointment and having a temperature > 37.3 ℃, our security team will date stamp the appointment letter and inform the customer to return with the letter when his/her health condition has improved, by emailing our helpdesk.
Those with signs and symptoms of COVID-19 (e.g. fever, cough and difficulty breathing) should seek medical advice as early as possible from the Indonesia Health Authorities.

Increased fees for visa applications
Please note: As of 02 February 2020 the Schengen visa fee per person (Short Stay Visa) will increase from 60 to 80 euros or the equivalent amount in your local currency. For children between 6-12 years old the visa fee will increase to 40 euros or equivalent.

As instructed by the Embassy of the Netherlands, Indonesian documents and any other language related to the visa application should be accompanied with an authorized translation. Translation must be either in Dutch or English.
