Importnat Information

  • 31 July 2020: European Union citizens including UK nationals, and members of their families, as well as residents of third countries on the list established by the EU can presently travel to the Netherlands. Please note this list is subject to change, according to developments regarding Covid-19.

    For countries still under the EU travel ban, there is a limited number of exemptions (where it ís possible to travel to the Netherlands).

    Visit the relevant page on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website to view the list of countries, to learn more about the exemptions and to see if you can apply for a visa.

    Your application will only enter the decision phase if it fulfils all Schengen visa requirements and explicitly and clearly meets the criteria for an exemption.

  • Dear customers, please kindly note that visa application centre in Saint-Petersburg will resume operations on the 03 August 2020, with the same working schedule and application rules as in Moscow. Appointments for submission of documents and passport collection can be scheduled via links you can find on "Schedule an appointment" and "After submission" tabs.
  • Dear customers, please kindly note that visa application centre in Moscow will resume its operations on the 23rd of June. As per current EU’s entry limitations, Schengen applications will be accepted for the following purposes of visit:

    *truck drivers


    *aircraft crew members

    • long-distance couples (not an official marriage!) - details related to this purpose of visit can be found on "Visiting family and friends" tab.

    We ask you to take into consideration the following points as well:

    • As per requirements of local authorities related to the current epidemiological situation, all applications, including OCP ones, will be accepted strictly as per preliminarily scheduled appointments. Also you will need to schedule an appointment for the procedure of passport collection. You can find more information about it on "After submission" tab.

  • This is a message for all visa applicants, please note that due to the worldwide developing situation with Corona virus the Dutch government has implemented temporary business reduction in consular services.

    No visa applications will be accepted for the period 18 March 2020 until at least 06 April 2020. All following updates will be published on this page.

  • The Netherlands Visa Application Centers closed

    As a result of the corona crisis the Netherlands has closed its Visa Application Centers until further notice. All visa application appointments from 18 March 2020 onwards are cancelled.

  • It is not possible to extend a visa. Not even if, due to circumstances, the visa expired unused. You will have to apply for a new visa.
