Visa applications for UK residents are to be submitted at the Norway Visa Application Centres in London or Edinburgh. All visa applications will be assessed by the Embassy of Norway in London. The Visa Application Centres are operated by VF Services (UK) Limited.
Based on the Norwegian Institute of Public Health’s assessment of the COVID-19 situation, the Norwegian Government has decided to change the travel advice for the UK. All travelers from the UK who arrive in Norway from 22 August will have to quarantine for 10 days. Please see the Norwegian Institute of Public Health website for more information. Family members and boyfriend/girlfriend of Norwegians may now come to Norway to visit. Norway opening for some visa categories from July 15th
Starting 15th of July, the Government allows the entry of foreign nationals from countries outside the EU/EEA (referred to as third-country nationals) who have family or an established romantic relationship in Norway. You may still be required to quarantine after your arrival to Norway. Please see here for more information.

Importance of documentation:
Please note that all normal requirements for Schengen-visas still apply. The lists of documentation requirements are available on VFS’ webpages. In addition, when handing in your application at VFS, you must prove that you are in one of the categories mentioned above. If not, VFS are instructed to refuse to receive your application.

Customers exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms, including cough and difficulty breathing will be allowed to reschedule their application submission for another day and will be advised to seek medical attention.

Please note: As of 02 February 2020 the Schengen visa fee per person (Short Stay Visa) will increase from 60 to 80 euros or the equivalent amount in your local currency. For children between 6-12 years old the visa fee will increase to 40 euros or equivalent
