Short Term Visa (Maximum Stay Of 90 Days)
-
Overview
If you plan to go to Czech Republic and stay for a period not exceeding 90 days in any 180 day period, and your country is not on the visa free list, you need a Schengen travel visa (Visa C).
Please note that in order to apply for a visa at Visa Application Centre or the Consular Department of the Embassy of Czech Republic, your only destination or your main destination (longest duration of stay) must be Czech Republic. In the absence of a main destination (e.g. same duration of stay in two or more countries) you can apply at any of these countries but it is recommended that you apply at the country of first entry because your passport will show the entry stamp of your first destination only.
Passport has to be valid for at least three months beyond the intended stay in Czech Republic; issued not more than 10 years ago and needs to contain at least two empty pages available for visa and/or permit sticker. A new passport must be obtained before submission of your application, if the said conditions are not met. Applications can be accepted in the earliest term 180 days before the planned journey.
Applicant must choose correct Purpose of travel to Czech Republic while document submission – Visa Application Centre staff will not be able to assist in taking this decision. In case of any questions regarding the visa application, the Embassy of Czech Republic in Uzbekistan may require an additional interview with the applicant.
Visa Application Centre accepts citizens of Tajikistan. The other citizens can apply only based on residence permit in Tajikistan. To know more about the same and for up to date information for the Schengen visa, we recommend you to visit the website of Embassy of Czech Republic in Uzbekistan.
The possession of a visa does not confer an automatic right of entry to a Schengen country. The visa holder is requested to present proof that they fulfill the entry conditions at the border (valid travel document, valid visa, and valid purpose of travel with adequate means of travel).
VFS is not at liberty to consider the admissibility of an application. If necessary, documents are missing the Embassy can decide not to process the application even if VFS received and forwarded it.
Clients are solely responsible for the applications they submit. Any false documents or other misrepresentation of information in support of their application will have a direct bearing on the judgment of their application by the Consular Department the Embassy of Czech Republic in Uzbekistan.
