- One recent (not older than 30 days/1 month) passport size, ( 35mm x 45mm of the picture) white background photograph (Do not Staple the photographs)
- Travel Ticket Itinerary and Hotel Reservation.
- Covering letter from the Company – explaining the purpose of trip. (To be submitted along with the Spanish translation).
- PCC (Police clearance certificate) - Apostille (if applicable)/attested by Ministry of External Affairs/ Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the respective government) (submitted along with its translation in Spanish).
- Bank Letter : Date of opening of an account, annual average balance maintained during the year, Date of last Deposit. (Submitted along with its translation in Spanish).
- Original Passport, its copy & copies of valid visas pages.

Invitation letter should have a below mentioned clause which is:
“Garantizo que (nombre, nacionalidad y pasaporte), no permanecerá en la República Dominicana más tiempo que el concedido por la Dirección General de Migración, ni solicitara residencia o cambio de estatus migratorio desde el territorio dominicano, dedicándose exclusivamente a la actividad por la cual le fue otorgado el visado. Me hago moral y económicamente responsable de su retorno a su país de origen, asumiendo pagar a favor del Estado Dominicano cualquier gasto en que dicha persona pueda incurrir durante su estancia en el país, o que se origine como consecuencial de su repatriación o deportación del mismo”.

Photo Specifications
- The photograph must be in color.
- It should be without border.
- It should have a white background only.
- It should have a close up of your head and top of your shoulders so that your face takes up 70-80% of the photograph.
- It should be in sharp focus and clean.
- It should be of high quality with no ink marks and creases.
- The photograph must show you looking directly at the camera.
- It should be 3.5 cm X 4.5 cm.
- It should show your skin tone naturally.
- It should have appropriate brightness and contrast.
- The photograph should be a recent one not more than 1 month old.
- It is to be taken without headgear.
- Photograph can be taken with headgear, after consideration on case to case basis if the applicant wears headgear on religious grounds. The main characteristics of the face must be apparent from the photograph. Chin, nose, eyes, ears and eyebrows must not be covered; the forehead should be uncovered to the extent that the shape of the face is apparent. Teeth should not be visible.
- It should be without hat/cap.
- The photograph should not have any staple marks.
- Scanned & color photocopies would NOT be accepted.

- If invited friend/relative: applicant must attach the invitation letter in Spanish which should be notarized and legalized by Procuraduría General de la República Dominicana and

Important Note:
If any National is traveling only for tourism purposes and has valid multiple entry visa for USA, United Kingdom, Canada or Schengen then any National may obtain a tourist card at their arrival in any airport of the Dominican Republic for a cost of US$10.00 with a validity of 30 days.
For all other purposes, Nationals have to apply in their nearest Embassy or Consulate.

- Proof of the University or the Center for Studies certifying the final acceptance to the University or Research Center. This instrument produced must specify the level of studies to be performed, the subsidiary or institution selected and the duration of the program.
- Document certifying the scholarship (if applicable) or the institution's financial support will cover studies in the case studies are funded by an institution in their country of origin or a scholarship. This document must specify what amount of financial support or scholarship, as well as the duration for which it was intended. In both cases, this record must be written on letterhead and certified by the institution.
- Medical Certificate presenting a diagnosis of general health status of the applicant and indicating if it suffers from some kind of contagious disease. Must be issued by the relevant health authorities of the last country in which the person was domiciled. In the event that you reside in the Dominican Republic, this certificate must be issued by medical laboratory, clinic or hospital registered by the Ministry of Public Health.
- No Criminal Record Certificate issued by the appropriate authorities of the last country in which the person was domiciled. If the applicant has resided in the Dominican Republic that document must be issued by the Attorney General of the Republic. Not required for minors.
- Authorization from parents or guardian, when it is a minor and who asked is not the father or mother. In this case, it is required that the parent that is not manifest in the Dominican Republic in accordance with the other parent to take to live in the Dominican Republic at the lowest.
- Documents proving financial solvency (bank letter, job letter, property deeds, etc..). If any document is issued in the Dominican Republic, must be certified by a notary public and legalized by the Attorney General of the Republic.
- Application letter addressed to the consular post by the person concerned or his representative, requesting a student visa, including the name and nationality.

Marriage certificate transcribed before the Civil Registry of the Central Board Electoral (JCE). Law No. 659-44 on acts of civil status, art. Numeral 14.

Residence by Rentist (A Person who Generates Income with his/her own Investment)

- Original passport valid for at least 18 months.
- Covering letter from applicant – explaining the purpose of obtaining residency. (duly signed and to be submitted along with its SPANISH translation).
- National Identity Document of the country of Nationality and legible photocopy of the Residence Card, if you reside in a Second country.

- Renner with personal investment in Dominican Republic
Documents showing personal investment carried out in the Dominican territory. (Copy real estate titles, company documents-Demonstrate that it is operating with the requirements established by the Ministry of labor, bank certificates in DR) - Renner with personal investment in his country of origin:
Deposit the financial document of the institution from which the funds are accumulated, as specified in Law 171-07, Article 1: - These documents will be presented in original. The income received in wages do not apply.

NOTE: In order to benefit from the preferential regime established in Law 171-07, Pensioners or Retirees and Foreign Rentistas must receive Monthly income according to the following scale:
The minimum amount of income for the Pensioner is US $ 1,500.00 dollars or Equivalent in pesos, and the Renant of US $ 2,000.00 or the equivalent in Dominican pesos.
Residence by Pension / Retirement

NOTE: In order to benefit from the preferential regime established in Law 171-07, Pensioners or Retirees and Foreign Rentistas must receive an Monthly income according to the following scale:
The minimum amount of income for the Pensioner is US $ 1,500.00 dollars or Equivalent in pesos, and the Renant of US $ 2,000.00 or the equivalent in Dominican pesos.

Photo Specifications
- The photograph must be in color.
- It should be without border.
- It should have a white background only.
- It should have a close up of your head and top of your shoulders so that your face takes up 70-80% of the photograph.
- It should be in sharp focus and clean.
- It should be of high quality with no ink marks and creases.
- The photograph must show you looking directly at the camera.
- It should be 3.5 cm X 4.5 cm.
- It should show your skin tone naturally.
- It should have appropriate brightness and contrast.
- The photograph should be a recent one not more than 1 month old.
- It is to be taken without headgear.
- Photograph can be taken with headgear, after consideration on case to case basis if the applicant wears headgear on religious grounds. The main characteristics of the face must be apparent from the photograph. Chin, nose, eyes, ears and eyebrows must not be covered; the forehead should be uncovered to the extent that the shape of the face is apparent. Teeth should not be visible.
- It should be without hat/cap.
- The photograph should not have any staple marks.
- Scanned & color photocopies would NOT be accepted.
