B/2 Tourist/ Visitor Visa

Overview
- B/2 is granted to applicants requesting to visit Israel for tourism, medical tourism, business meetings or short-term non-academic study.
- B/2 holders are not permitted to work in Israel.
- B/2 is usually single entry for three months from day of granting.
- Citizens of countries who signed a Visa exemption treaty do not need to apply before their visit Their stay will be determined upon arriving in Israel.
- A foreign worker who finished working in Israel may apply for B/2 one year after they leave Israel (even if arrived from a country that does not require a Visa).

- Proof of financial means for visit to Israel - Bank Statements for three months.
- Confirmation of employment.
- Place of stay in Israel (hotel reservation/flat rental/Air BnB).
- Return flight tickets.
- Planned itinerary.
- Medical insurance valid for period of stay.
- In the case of a sport team/artists/festival-goers - invitation letter from the inviter in Israel.
- Two recent colour passport photos, against a white background, unobstructed face, 5 x 5 cm.
For a minor:
- Filled and signed consent form by both parents/legal guardian.
- Original birth certificate or any other official document with child and parents’ names written.

Overview
Student Visas are granted to students who belong to institutions recognized by the Council for Higher Education, study programs of the Volcani Centre (agricultural research) and to the B.A. study program in Business Administration at the China-Israel Institute.

- Official acceptance letter to an institution recognized by the Council for Higher Education, study programs of the Volcani Centre (agricultural research) and to the B.A. study program in Business Administration at the China-Israel Institute.
- If the student has first-degree dependents - ensure their details and passport numbers appear on the official acceptance letter.
- Proven means of living (bank statements for three months prior to application).
- Birth certificate (not legalized).
- Copies of Parents’ passports to verify applicant isn’t an Israeli citizen.
- Medical insurance for period of study.
- Proof of stay in Israel (minimum first month) in dorms/rental/Air BnB etc.

For a minor:

Diplomatic Visa -UN and International Organization Staff

Overview
- Diplomatic Visa is granted in a red UN diplomatic passport, for an official title holder, as requested in Note Verbal from the agency or organization headquarters.
- The Visa granted at the Consulate is multiple entry for three months.
- In Israel, a Visa will be granted for the relevant purpose and rest of stay, in accordance with the Note Verbale and passport validity.
- Diplomatic Visa will also be granted to accompanying family – spouse and children up to 18 who hold national passports.
- After the age of 18, children of UN staff receive B/2 for three months.

- In case of a minor who travels with one parent (for a short term or long-term visit) - ensure the trip is approved by both parents. If the parents are not married, ask for the parental consent form signed.

Diplomatic/ Service Visa -Foreign Diplomats

Overview
- A Diplomatic or Service Visa is granted in a diplomatic or service passport, to official position holders, with a Note Verbale from the applicant's foreign ministry at the local Israeli Consulate.
- The Visa granted at the Consulate is multiple entry, according to the service period (maximum 4 years).
- In Israel, a Visa will be granted for the relevant purpose and rest of stay, in accordance to the Note Verbale and Passport Validity.
- Diplomatic or Service Visa will be granted to family: spouse and children, who hold diplomatic or service passports (children till 24 years old).

Work visa B/1 for work under a contract.

Overview
- From November 11, 2019, the Embassy and the visa center will not accept medical certificates with test results for traveling abroad from applicants. All applicants for a work visa will be required to undergo a medical examination only at the International Clinic in Tashkent.
- This means that on the day of submitting documents at the VFS GLOBAL visa center, applicants will also be booked for an appointment at the International Clinic in Tashkent. An appointment at the clinic is automatically scheduled when the applicant books an appointment at the visa center.
- Applicants must visit the clinic on the same day during the clinic's working hours - from 9:00 to 12:00. The results of the medical examination will be sent directly to the Embassy of Israel in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
- Payment for the medical examination, in the amount of 1,200,000 sum, must be made by applicants to an employee of the International Clinic in Tashkent, who will be at the Embassy of Israel on the day of the interview. The day of the interview is also appointed by the visa center. There is no need to provide any medical certificates from other medical institutions in Uzbekistan.

Documents Required
Required documents:
To obtain a work visa, client must first find a company or individual in Israel who is willing to invite an employee to work in Israel.
An employer in Israel must contact the Israeli Ministry of Interior and obtain an official work permit for their future employee, which is later forwarded to the Embassy.
After concluding a contract with an employer, the applicant for a work visa must provide the following documents to the Embassy:
- A passport valid for at least 7 months at the time of application
- 2 color photographs, 5.5 x 5.5 cm on a white background;
- A birth certificate with a translation into English, certified by the Apostille seal
- A marriage/divorce/death certificate of a spouse or a certificate from the Civil Registry Office on the absence of family relations (celibacy) with a translation into English, certified by the Apostille seal;
- A certificate of no criminal record with a translation into English, certified by the Apostille seal;
- All applicants for a work visa will have to undergo a medical examination only at the International Clinic in Tashkent.;
- A diploma of education with an appendix. For example, if the applicant is sent to work as a caregiver for the elderly, he must provide a diploma of completed medical education or a diploma of completion of a course in caring for the disabled and the elderly - with a translation into English, certified by the Apostille seal;
- A contract between the employer and the employee, signed by both parties. The employee must sign the contract in the presence of a notary. The contract must be signed by a notary and certified by the Apostille seal.
A certificate of no criminal record, birth certificate, document on marital status, diploma with an appendix must be translated into English and certified by the Apostille seal. The contract must also be certified by the Apostille seal.
After receiving the above documents and an official invitation through the Israeli Ministry of Interior, the embassy will review the visa application.
B/1 visa for persons of Jewish descent
You must contact the Repatriation (Permanent Residence) Department to undergo consular verification.
After receiving permission, you must make an appointment at the visa center and provide the following documents:
- A passport valid for at least 7 months at the time of application
- Provide the original of your birth certificate and a copy;
- 2 color photographs, 5.5 x 5.5 cm on a white background;
- Fill out the application form.
- Medical insurance.
The consular fee is not paid in this case
