  • Overview

    • Republic of Liberia passport is exclusive to Liberians. This implies nationals resident in Liberia and the diaspora. Passports issued by the Republic conform to Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) standards and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) standards. The Ordinary Passport is issued to all citizens. This passport is Dark Green in colour. It has the ECOWAS emblem on the front page and that of Liberia on the back page.
    • As part of the application process, you will be required to submit your demographic information and upon completion, the applicant will be directed to the online payment provider. Once payment is complete, the applicant can schedule the appointment to visit Liberia Passport Application Center (LPAC) in the Canada.
    • At the LPAC, your printed Application, photograph, fingerprints, signature and service fees payment will be taken.

  • Application Fees

    • It is mandatory for the Government of Liberia fees to be paid online after completing online application form on Republic of Liberia passport service portal.

      Applicants living outside Liberia will be required to pay an amount of $160.00 Passport processing fee and additional $5.00 convenience fee which totals $165 as indicated on the payment advice slip.

      Payment of LPAC Service Charges can be paid by Debit or Credit card at the Liberia Passport Application Center.

  • Documents Required

    Applicants are required to provide a proof of their citizenship as a Liberian.

    The following documents are accepted.

    • Birth Certificate
    • Old Passport
    • National ID
    • Resident Permit of citizens resident in other countries
    • Naturalization Documents

  • Photo Specifications

    • Applicant is required to submit a passport size of 1MB photograph which must be scanned and attached during the online application process.
    • Note: Only Black is the acceptable colour of hair for taking photographs at Liberia Passport Application Center.

  • Application Form

    • For Liberia Passport application process, applicants will be required to submit their demographic information online.
    • After completing Application form, applicant will be directed to make online payment for their passport application.
    • Once payment is completed, applicant must book an appointment with Liberia Passport Application Center.

      • Note: Applicant must print out the application form once completed online. Print the online application payment receipt, attach other supporting documents, and visit personally to the Liberia passport application centre on the appointed date and time.
