- The only acceptable method of payment for Visa Fees is by Cash in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR). It is subject to change every month end.
- The applicable visa fee in LKR is as per the current exchange rate. The same is subject to change without notice.
- The Visa Fee and Service Fee is non-refundable.
- There is a mandatory Department of Immigration Charges of LKR 2820 per applicant.

For Applicants applying from Bangladesh
- The acceptable method of payment for Visa Fees is by TT (Telegraphic Transfer) in US Dollars (USD). Applicants can approach Bank of convenience and should follow the below process.

- The only acceptable method of payment for Visa Fees is by Demand Draft in Indian Rupees (INR).
- Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of "VFS Global Services Pvt. Ltd.” and to be payable at New Delhi.
- There is a bank counter available at VFS office to assist applicants prepare their visa fees demand draft with an additional NPR 1375/-
- The Visa fee and Service fee is non-refundable.
Note: “Any demand draft having contradicting MICR number or incorrect information shall not be acceptable”

Documents Required
- Application Form
- Travel document (passport) issued in the past 10 years, valid for at least 3 months beyond the intended date of leaving the territory of the Republic of Moldova (in the case of minors - additionally the birth certificate and the passport of the legal representative);Two (02) recent passport size photographs.
- A récent matte, colour photo 35mm x 45mm;
- The invitation issued by the General Inspectorate for Migration, or the residence permit or valid visa (except a transit visa) issued by a member state of the European Union or by a state part to the Schengen Agreement, by the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, by the United States of America or by Canada;
- Reservation at a tourist accommodation unit or, if applicable, the commitment of maintenance and accommodation filled and signed by a person from the Republic of Moldova. Exception: foreigners who obtain visas based in the invitation issued by the General Inspectorate for Migration;
- Reservation of a round-trip ticket valid up to the destination or the driving license, the green card insurance and the registration documents of the vehicle, if traveling by car;
- Day to Day Itinerary.
- Proof of means of subsistence (the bank statement issued no longer than 10 days before the submission and minimum coverage of 30 euro/day of staying, but not less than 300 EUR, for a stay shorter than 10 days) or, if applicable, the commitment of maintenance and accommodation filled and signed by a person from the Republic of Moldova.
- Travel medical insurance valid throughout the territory of the Republic of Moldova, which fully covers the expected period of stay and all expenses that repatriation for medical reasons, emergency medical treatments and/or emergency hospitalization or death may require, but not less than 30,000 euros
Note: Color Photocopies of all the original Indian documents and documents received from Moldova (Passport, previous visas, PCC, Invitation, Contract etc..) needs to be submitted along with the application.

Photo Specifications

- The photograph must be in color.
- It should be without border.
- It should have a white background only.
- It should have a close up of your head and top of your shoulders so that your face takes up 70-80% of the photograph.
- It should be in sharp focus and clean.
- It should be of high quality with no ink marks and creases.
- The photograph must show you looking directly at the camera.
- It should be 3.5 cm X 4.5 cm.
- It should show your skin tone naturally.
- It should have appropriate brightness and contrast.
- The photograph should be a recent one not more than 1 month old.
- It is to be taken without headgear.
- Photograph can be taken with headgear, after consideration on case to case basis if the applicant wears headgear on religious grounds. The main characteristics of the face must be apparent from the photograph. Chin, nose, eyes, ears and eyebrows must not be covered; the forehead should be uncovered to the extent that the shape of the face is apparent. Teeth should not be visible.
- It should be without hat/cap.
- The photograph should not have any staple marks.
- Scanned & color photocopies would NOT be accepted.

- Nepal - minimum 10 – 15 working days
- Bangladesh - minimum 10 – 15 working days

- Reservation of a round-trip ticket valid up to the destination or the driving license, the green card insurance and the registration documents of the vehicle, if traveling by car;
- Day to Day Itinerary.

- There is a bank counter available at VFS office to assist applicants prepare their visa fees demand draft with an additional NPR 1375/-

- Travel document (passport) issued in the past 10 years, valid for at least 3 months beyond the intended date of leaving the territory of the Republic of Moldova (in the case of minors - additionally the birth certificate and the passport of the legal representative);
- Two (02) recent passport size photographs. A récent matte, colour photo 35mm x 45mm;
- The invitation issued by the General Inspectorate for Migration, or the residence permit or valid visa (except a transit visa) issued by a member state of the European Union or by a state part to the Schengen Agreement, by the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, by the United States of America or by Canada;
- Confirmation from the legal entity on the temporary transfer of staff within the same legal person for carrying out an activity as a person with a management or specialist position;
- Copy of the excerpt from the State Register of legal entities of the institution or organization that invites the person, as the case may be;
- Criminal record from the country of origin, translated into Romanian or English and legalized or apostilled, as the case may be;
- PCC (Police Clearance Certificate) requirement for Nepal / Bangladesh / Sri Lanka - Criminal record from the country of origin, translated into Romanian or English. PCC legalization from Embassy of the Republic of Moldova would be required for Nepalese / Bangladeshi / Sri Lankan applicants for Type D visa categories.
- Travel medical insurance valid throughout the territory of the Republic of Moldova, which fully covers the expected period of stay and all expenses that repatriation for medical reasons, emergency medical treatments and/or emergency hospitalization or death may require, but not less than 30,000 euros
Note: Color Photocopies of all the original Indian documents and documents received from Moldova (Passport, previous visas, PCC, Invitation, Contract etc..) needs to be submitted along with the application.
The invitation must be issued by the General Inspectorate for Migration (for Nepal / Bangladesh & Sri Lanka). Colour copy of Invitation would be required to submit along with the visa application

Photo Specifications

- The photograph must be in color.
- It should be without border.
- It should have a white background only.
- It should have a close up of your head and top of your shoulders so that your face takes up 70-80% of the photograph.
- It should be in sharp focus and clean.
- It should be of high quality with no ink marks and creases.
- The photograph must show you looking directly at the camera.
- It should be 3.5 cm X 4.5 cm.
- It should show your skin tone naturally.
- It should have appropriate brightness and contrast.
- The photograph should be a recent one not more than 1 month old.
- It is to be taken without headgear.
- Photograph can be taken with headgear, after consideration on case to case basis if the applicant wears headgear on religious grounds. The main characteristics of the face must be apparent from the photograph. Chin, nose, eyes, ears and eyebrows must not be covered; the forehead should be uncovered to the extent that the shape of the face is apparent. Teeth should not be visible.
