Temporary suspension of Long Term Visa in Tehran for Portugal Visa customers

Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries have ordered temporary suspension of flights to Iran in the wake of the latest Coronavirus (COVID-19) spread. This has led to some delays across courier routes in the region that have impacted Portugal Visa operations.

As a result, starting from 02 March 2020, Long Term Visa application will not be accepted in Tehran for Portugal Visa customers until further notice. We will be in contact with customers who currently have appointments for the submission of Long Term Visa during this period to discuss alternative arrangements.

We will keep the situation under review and when the service can be offered again, we will post an update on this page.

For any other enquiries, please contact:

We apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate your kind co-operation.
