    Due to the curfew imposed by Lagos State Government starting today (20 October 2020) at 16:00 hrs for 24 hours, The Visa application centers in Lagos will remain closed on Wednesday, 21 October 2020. Business will resume on Monday, 26 October 2020 if the situation comes back to normalcy.

    Dear Customers,

    The Portugal Visa Application Centers in Nigeria will resume operations on 29 June 2020. The Centre will however only accept applications for long term Visas (re-entry visa). The office shall be open only on Mondays between 09:00 hrs to 14:00 hrs in Abuja and Lagos until further notice.

    Note: Effective 15 September 2020 it is mandatory to book appointment online for submitting Visa applications at our centers in Abuja and Lagos.

    Mandatory courier service to avoid exposure to COVID-19

    With immediate effect there will be a mandatory courier to send all decisions back to Portugal applicants to minimize the risk of exposure and avoid multiple contacts due to Covid-19. This applies to all new and existing applications under processing or processed.

    As instructed by the embassy, Portugal visa application Centre in Lagos and Abuja will not accept visa applications for Portugal from Monday 16 March 2020 to Thursday 26 March 2020. Normal business activities resumes fully on Friday, 27 March 2020.

    Please note, from 24 February 2020 onwards, all payments at the Visa Application Center Abuja Nigeria will be done through POS Machines. We request you to carry your debit cards to make payments with ease.

    Please note: As of 02 February 2020 the Schengen visa fee per person (Short Stay Visa) will increase from 60 to 80 euros or the equivalent amount in your local currency. For children between 6-12 years old the visa fee will increase to 40 euros or equivalent
