Application Fee

The visa application fee must be paid in cash only. The visa application fee for each application is SAR 80.00.

Please note:

  • The applicable visa fee in SAR 80 is as per the current exchange rate. It is subject to change without notice due to sudden foreign exchange fluctuations.
  • The visa fee is non-refundable.

Service Charges

Applicants shall be levied a service charge of SAR 152.00 (inclusive of tax) per application. This fee is payable in cash only

Additional services

The fees listed here are in addition to the visa application fee and the service charges. The services can be purchased at the visa application. These services are supplied by VFS.

Processing Time

The processing time for a visa application is approximately 5 working days excluding the day of submission and the Saudi Arabia & Singapore week-ends holidays. However, some applications may take longer if further verification and evaluation are required.

Documents Required

Checklist – Tourism

For all types of visa applications, the following are the basic documents are required:

  • Application Form (14A) duly completed and signed by the applicant (Form 14A is also downloadable from: www.ica.gov.sg
  • 2 recent passport sized colour photographs with white background.
  • Photocopy of passport Bio-data page (pages showing personal details and the validity as well as endorsement of valid visas to other countries, if any). Please ensure that the passport is valid for at least 6 months from the intended date of departure to Singapore. (Required to produce your original Passport at the Counter for verifying if your application submitting in Jeddah Centre)
  • Travel itinerary: – Hotel booking and Flight booking (Applicants are advised to confirm hotel and flight reservation only after the visa has been approved) (It is optional if your application submitting in Riyadh and Al Khobar Centre)
  • Letter of identification from the employer/sponsor and attested by the Chamber of Commerce. (It is an optional if your application submitting in Jeddah Centre)
  • A copy of Valid Iqama with mentioned current validity date (Saudi Arabian Residence Permit).
  • A Letter of Invitation (V39A), from Singapore contact with a mention of NRIC number if application is made for Tourism purpose. (Letter of invitation issued by Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Singapore to be duly attested by Ministry of Foreign affairs (Wazart Kharjiah). The Embassy will not accept invitation letter from hotels, travel agencies, airlines and travel and tour offices. Except Jeddah Consulate is acceptable. Letter of Introduction (LOI) must be issued by a local contact in Singapore. Any Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident who is at least 21 years old can act as a local contact. If you are not able to furnish a LOI from a local contact, you may approach your Embassy/High Commission/ Consulate to issue a LOI to support your visa application.   • Singapore Visa Applications for Saudi Nationals:
    Saudi Nationals are not required to submit V39A/LOI for their visa applications, and only need to furnish the four fields of the LC in Part III of Form 14A.

  • Official translation of the documents are required if they are not in the English Language.
  • Visa processing fee SR 80 per application (non-refundable)

Note:

  • The applicant and the local contact may be required to furnish additional documents and information whenever necessary.
  • Incomplete/illegible forms and /or documents submitted may result in the application being rejected or the processing delayed.
  • Every application for a visa will be considered on its own merits.
  • Possession of a visa does not guarantee entry into Singapore. Visitors must also meet entry requirements such as holding a valid passport, sufficient funds for the period of stay in Singapore and complete travel itinerary.
  • Applicants can only apply for a visa within 30 days prior to entry to Singapore.
  • With effect from 15 August 2018, successful visa applicants from all countries will be issued with E-Visas instead of visa stickers.
  • All documents must be submitted on A4 size paper only.
  • Applications without a Letter of Invitation (V39A) without a mentioned of NRIC number will not be accepted.
  • Saudi Diplomatic passport will not require a visa to enter Singapore.
  • Applicants can request a representative to submit their visa application and all necessary documents on their behalf however the representative must submit an authorisation letter, without which the application will not be accepted.
  • Collection of Visa: If your application is approved, the authorised visa agent can use the e-Service to print a copy of your e-Visa for you.

Photo Specifications

  • The photograph must be in color.
  • It should be without border.
  • It should have a light colored background only so that features are distinguishable and in contrast against the background.
  • It should have a close up of your head and top of your shoulders so that your face takes up 70-80% of the photograph.
  • It should be in sharp focus and clear.
  • It should be of high quality with no ink marks and creases.
  • The photograph must show you looking directly at the camera.
  • It should be 4 cm X 5 cm.
  • It should show your skin tone naturally.
  • It should have appropriate brightness and contrast.
  • The photograph should be a recent one not more than 3 months old.
  • Photograph can be taken with headgear, the main characteristics of the face must be apparent from the photograph. Chin, nose, eyes and eyebrows must not be covered; the forehead should be uncovered to the extent that the shape of the face is apparent.
  • It should be without hat/cap.
  • It should be without the applicant's hair tucked behind his/her ears.
  • The photograph must show facing square on to the camera, not looking over the shoulder or tilted, and showing both edges of the face clearly.
  • It should be taken with uniform lighting and not show shadows or flash reflections on the face and no red eye
  • If wearing glasses the photograph must show the eyes clearly with no flash reflection off the glasses and no tinted lenses (if possible, avoid heavy frames – lighter framed glasses to be worn). Make sure the frame does not cover any part of the eye.
  • The photograph must show alone (no chair backs, toys or other people visible) looking at the camera with a neutral expression and the mouth closed.
  • The photograph should not have any staple marks.
  • Scanned & color photocopies would NOT be accepted.
