Zimbabwe Exemption Permit transfer and rectification process
Please note that the ZEP transfer and rectification process is online and applicants can now submit their applications. This is applicable for those applicants who are in possession of a valid ZEP permit. Applications can be completed on http://www.vfsglobal.com/dha/southafrica/complete-online-form.html

All ZEP permit collections for the applicants who submitted at the Durban ZEP office will now take place at the DHA office at 36 Silverton Road, Musgrave Durban

The Department of Home Affairs has extended the closing date for payments and submission of supporting documents and biometrics for the new Zimbabwean Exemption Permit (ZEP), until 15 February 2018. The extension, to 15 February 2018, is only for submitting biometrics (fingerprints) and supporting documents at the 10 VFS offices listed below as well as for those who have submitted online applications by 30 November 2017 but did not pay the prescribed fee. New applications will not be accepted after the 30 November 2017.

For the attention of DHA/ ZEP applicants in Cape Town
The power has been restored at the DHA/ZEP application submission centre in Cape Town. Maintenance has been completed and all is back to normal, applicants may proceed to submit their applications accordingly at 2 Long Street Cape Town
