• Step 1

  Gather your materials: Clean empty milk jug, marker, thin wire or strong string, scissors, birdseed.

  Outline cutout holes on the two sides away from the handle.

  Cut out holes.

• Step 4

  Remove the cap and wrap wire or string around the base of the opening and put the cap back on.

• Step 5

  Poke holes in the bottom for drainage.

• Step 6

  Fill your new milk jug bird feeder with birdseed and hang.

  Hang it in your garden by a tree or your window and welcome your winged friends.
