Please read the information on this site carefully. VFS Latvia Visa Application Centre provides you with general information on how to apply for a Long Stay visa to Latvia. The guidelines are to help you prepare your documents as accurately as possible.

Long Stay visas must be applied for at the respective Embassy of the country of your main destination.

Before applying, please ensure that you are very clear on your ‘purpose of visit’. Visa category chosen by the applicant must be based on the purpose of travel and the decision must be made by the applicant him/herself. Visa Application Centre staff cannot assist in making this decision for you.
