    Please note:

    • Visa and service fees are stated in Euro the MNT which could be change from time to time. Payments in visa applications centers are carried out in MNT in accordance with the exchange rate of the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in China.
    • Visa and service fees can be paid in bank card or cash
    • Each applicant needs to pay service fee in the amount of 365,100 MNT (inclusive of tax).
    • Both visa and service fees are not refundable.
    • Children up to 12 years are exempt of visa fees, counting from the entry date.
    • The age of the minor applicant is calculated as per the date of arrival to Bulgaria, not the date of application submission.

    The Embassy/Consulate may request you to provide additional documents or information, according to your personal situation, even after you have submitted your application at Visa Application Center. Please be aware that submitting a completed application does not guarantee the issuance of a visa.

    Business-or-Short-Professional-Training - Checklist

  • Photo Specifications

    General information of Photo Specifications:

    • Photo should be colored, full-faced and without fringing.
    • Photo should have been taken within the last six months.
    • Each applicant should submit 1 photo along with visa application.
    • Photo size is 35 mm x 45 mm with face centered in the frame.
    • Head (from the top of the head to the bottom of the chin) should be about 30 mm.
    • Photo should be taken fullface with applicant facing camera directly.
    • Face should cover about 70-80% of the photo.
    • Photo should be colored and have white or light background. Photos with dark or patterned background will not be accepted.
    • Face should be clearly seen. It is preferable to have ears open.
    • Sunglasses or other accessories are not acceptable unless required for medical reasons (e.g. eye patch).
    • Photo depicting a person wearing a traditional facemask or a veil that does not permit adequate identification is not acceptable.

    Please note:

    • Kindly follow the instructions above. If photos provided do not correspond with the Embassy/Consulate requirements your application pack will be considered incomplete. In case you do not have an opportunity to make a photo in advance you can do it in visa application center.

  • Processing Time

    Standard visa application processing time is 15 calendar days (starting from the time when the Embassy or Consulate received the application, not including the transportation time) counting from when all requested documents have been submitted. Please note that processing time of a visa application can be up to 30 calendar days, especially if there is a necessity in its additional assessment.

    Tourist visa is granted for those where the intention is to visit Bulgaria for tourism and sightseeing without having an invitation from a Bulgarian referent.
