Business

Overview
The purpose of travel is business/work, commercial activity.
A Visitor’s Visa (Schengen - type C) only allows foreign nationals to visit Czech Republic and the other Schengen countries for up to 90 days.

Visa Fees
The fee for applying for a visitor’s visa (Short Term Visa – type C) is 90 Euros. Children between 6-12 years pay 45 Euros.
These groups are exempted from the visa fee:
- Children under the age of six
- Pupils, students or accompanying teachers when the purpose of the trip is educational or training
- Researchers entering the Schengen area to carry out scientific research
- Citizens of countries outside the EU/EEA area who are closely related to an EU/EEA national
- Representatives of non-governmental organizations who are aged 25 or under, who take part in seminars, conferences, sports events, cultural events or educational events organized by NGOs.
Please note:
- Visa fees are only paid in cash at the visa center.
- VFS will charge a service fee of 123 NIS per application. This comes in addition to the visa fee and is non-refundable.
- Applicants have to pay additional charges of 183 NIS in addition to Service charge for passports courier from Palestine to Amman and back.
- The VFS service fee can only be paid in cash in NIS at the Visa Application Centers.

Photo Specifications
Everyone who applies for a visa or a residence permit must hand in a photo with their application. The photo must meet certain requirement, so that you are easily recognized.
- The photo must show the whole head (the face must take up 70-80 per cent of the photo) and the top of your shoulders.
- Eyes must be open and clearly visible with no hair across the eyes.
- Wearing glasses is permitted. The lenses must not be tinted, the frame must not cover parts of your eyes and there must be no reflection in the lenses.
- Religious headgear is permitted if your chin, forehead and both cheeks are clearly visible. The headgear must not cast a shadow on the face.
- The photo must be
- In sharp focus, clear and with good contrast
- Printed on high-quality photo paper at a high resolution
- Taken directly from the front, against a light background
- In colour
- 35–40 mm wide
- Maximum six months old, and look like you
Please note
If the photo you enclose does not meet all the requirements, you will be asked to submit a new photo.
If your application also concerns your child, you must submit photos both of you and your child.

Visa Applications are usually processed within 21 days (excluding day of submission at the Visa Application Centre), if all required documentation is in order. We advise you to submit your application at least 3 weeks before your planned departure.

Visiting Family and Friends

Overview
The purpose of travel is usually visiting a close family member or friends.
A Visitor’s Visa (Schengen - type C) only allows foreign nationals to visit Czech Republic and the other Schengen countries for up to 90 days.

The purpose of the visit is to travel to Czech Republic as a tourist, either by taking a trip organized by a tour operator, or through individual booking of tickets and accommodation.

The purpose of travel is to attend courses, internships, participation in study/exchange programs/summer schools; participate in sports, training, cultural exchange programs, and participation in conferences, workshops, etc.
