Overview
If you wish to visit Greece for a short time, you must be in possession of a visa if you are a national of a country for which a visa is required to enter Greece.

Visa Fees

- The visa fees in force are in accordance with the current exchange rate. They are subject to variation
- All charges are non-refundable.

Documents Required
- Visa application form duly completed in French or English and signed personally by the applicant.
- Valid passport with a minimum of 6 months validity after the expiration of the visa and containing at least 02 blank pages.
- Photocopy of passport pages up to the last visa.
- Two recent ID photos showing a resemblance to the applicant all on a white background.
- Reservation of the round trip ticket or the round trip ticket indicating the full itinerary of the trip (the final purpose of the trip must be Greece).
- Confirmed hotel reservation in Greece.
- Valid travel insurance, either individual or group, with a minimum coverage of 30,000 euros for the period requested for multiple / single entries.
- Bank history for one year (Euro and Dinars) and proof of the economic resources allowing the stay (credit card, travelers check, etc.)
- Justification of the socio-professional situation of the traveler:
- Employees:
- Work certificate or recent employment contract + three payslips + leave certificate + current certificate of social security affiliation + annual declaration of wages for the previous year + employer's trade register (translated into French / English language) +. Original + Copy
- Trader:
- Employer's trade register (translated into FR / EN) + certificate of existence + certificate of management power + extract of the roll + certificate of affiliation to CASNOS + form C20 mentioning the turnover and the balance sheet + last annual tax return
- Liberal professions:
- Decision of installation / professional card + last annual income statement.
- Farmers:
- Certification of farms + Farmer Card + Latest annual income statement.
- Students:
- School certificate + student card + proof of the parents' socio-professional situation.
- Unemployed:
- Proof of current financial resources.
- Retirees:
- Certificate of receipt of a retirement pension.
- Employees:
If the applicant is a minor:
Paternal authorization + maternal authorization.
If the guardianship does not belong to the parents:
Authorization of the guardian + justification of the guardianship (death certificate or legal provision).
If the applicant is not an Algerian national:
Algerian residence card valid 3 months after the expiry of the requested visa.
Administrative fees (non-refundable in case of refusal):
80 euros paid by cash in DA according to the official exchange rate for the month
Note:
The file will be rejected on the day of filing if one of the documents to be provided is missing.
There must be at least 21 days between the filing date of the file and the departure date (start of the trip).
Documents in Arabic will be translated into French / English.

The photographs must be:
- No more than 6-months old
- 35-40mm in width
- Close up of your head and top of your shoulders so that your face takes up 70 -80% of the photograph
- In sharp focus and clear
- Of high quality with no ink marks or creases

The photographs must:
- Show you looking directly at the camera
- Show your skin tones naturally
- Have appropriate brightness and contrast
- Be printed on high quality paper, and at high resolution Photographs taken with a digital camera must be high quality colour and printed on photo-quality paper.
Style and lighting

The photographs must be:
- Be colour neutral
- Show your eyes open and clearly visible-no hair across your eyes
- Show you facing square on to the camera, not looking over one shoulder (portrait style) or tilted, and showing both edges of your face clearly
- Be taken with a plain light-coloured background
- Be taken with uniform lighting and not show shadows or flash reflections on your face and no red eye
Glasses and head covers

If you wear glasses :
- Be colour neutral
- The photograph must show your eyes clearly with no flash reflection off the glasses, and no tinted lenses (if possible, avoid heavy frames - wear lighter framed glasses if you have them)
- Make sure that the frames do not cover any part of your eyes.

Head coverings :
- Are not permitted except for religious reasons, but your facial features from bottom of chin to top of forehead and both edges of your face must be clearly shown.

- The original letter of acceptance by a Greek educational institution including details of the courses and their duration bearing the institution's stamp and the signature of the principal of the school confirming that the student has already paid , in advance, all tuition fees.
MINORS (UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE):
- Extract of birth certificate of the minor
- Parents or legal guardian's exit authorization
- Photocopy of the passport of both parents or legal guardian
- In the case of tutoring, legal documents proving custody of the child
- If the applicant is not an Algerian national: Algerian residence card valid 3 months after the expiry of the requested visa.

- Hotel reservation confirmed during the entire stay in the countries of the Schengen area.
- Valid travel insurance, either individual or group, with a minimum coverage of 30,000 euros for the period requested for multiple / single entries.
- Letter of invitation or certificate of participation duly sent by the organization based in Greece, including details of the event as well as its duration.
- If the applicant is not an Algerian national: Algerian residence card valid 3 months after the expiry of the requested visa
MINORS (UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE):
- Extract of birth certificate of the minor
- Parents or legal guardian's exit authorization
- Photocopy of the passport of both parents or legal guardian
- In the case of tutoring, legal documents proving custody of the child
NOTE
- The file will be rejected on the day of filing if one of the documents to be provided is missing.
- There must be a minimum of 21 days between the date of submission of the file and the date of departure (start of the trip).
- Documents in Arabic will be translated into FR / EN language.

Photo Specifications

The photographs must be:
- No more than 6-months old
- 35-40mm in width
- Close up of your head and top of your shoulders so that your face takes up 70 -80% of the photograph
- In sharp focus and clear
- Of high quality with no ink marks or creases

The photographs must:
- Show you looking directly at the camera
- Show your skin tones naturally
- Have appropriate brightness and contrast
- Be printed on high quality paper, and at high resolution Photographs taken with a digital camera must be high quality colour and printed on photo-quality paper.
Style and lighting

The photographs must be:
- Be colour neutral
- Show your eyes open and clearly visible-no hair across your eyes
- Show you facing square on to the camera, not looking over one shoulder (portrait style) or tilted, and showing both edges of your face clearly
- Be taken with a plain light-coloured background
- Be taken with uniform lighting and not show shadows or flash reflections on your face and no red eye
Glasses and head covers

If you wear glasses :
- Be colour neutral
- The photograph must show your eyes clearly with no flash reflection off the glasses, and no tinted lenses (if possible, avoid heavy frames - wear lighter framed glasses if you have them)
- Make sure that the frames do not cover any part of your eyes.

Head coverings :
- Are not permitted except for religious reasons, but your facial features from bottom of chin to top of forehead and both edges of your face must be clearly shown.

Processing Time
The legal processing time for a Schengen visa is 15 calendar days.
