Temporary Visitor Visa

Overview
- Temporary visitor visa is for those who are visiting Japan up to 90 days for purposes of sightseeing, visits relatives, friends, or acquaintances; and short-term business affairs.
- The basic documents (The required documents for the visa application submission) must be followed the instruction from Japanese Embassy. Applicants must prepare the original documents with the copies in case you do not have the certified copies. You should be aware that the submission could be rejected if you do not submit required supporting documents.
- All the documents which had been submitted will not be returned to applicants. Applicants demand the officers if they want to get any supporting documents back. Beyond, applicants should bring the copies of the mandatory documents (Eg: Marriage certificate, Birth certificate, Household registration book, ect...) which need to be returned after the submission time.
- Except the Transit visa case, the Embassy Officers do not require applicants providing flight tickets as the mandatory documents. If applicants wish to submit flight booking/ flight ticket details, Embassy and VFS officers do not take the responsibility in case the visa result is rejected.
- After submitting application, in the processing time, Embassy may require applicants providing more supporting documents or interviewing. In case applicants could not provide more supporting documents or decline to take the interview, visa processing time will be affected.
- Except the case Embassy requires to submit supporting documents through FAX, please do not send Visa application documents to Embassy by post or FAX. Documents which are sent directly to Embassy is not considered as Basic Documents, moreover, Embassy will not except visa application based on these applications.
- Kindly bring your expired passport (in case you have one) with your valid passport to submit for the visa application.
- Processing time for a visa applicant is at least 9 business days (not including the date of filing at the reception center VFS). Embassy cannot approve visa sooner unless humanitarian cases etc.so you should schedule timetable to conduct visa as soon ahead of schedule.
- If your visa application is refused, then you should not carry out visa application with the same purpose within 6 months from the date of refusal. Embassy does not publish reasons for refusing a visa application.

Visa Application For Holders Of Certificate Of Eligibility

Overview
Foreigners who would like to perform remunerative work in Japan or for long term stays over 90 days in Japan etc. which are for purposes other than that of temporary visitor, should apply for a “Certificate of Eligibility” in Japan at the Regional Immigration Bureau of Japan nearby before the visa application.
- Temporary visitor visa is for those who are visiting Japan up to 90 days for purposes of sightseeing, visits relatives, friends, or acquaintances; and short-term business affairs.
- The basic documents (The required documents for the visa application submission) must be followed the instruction from Japanese Embassy. Applicants must prepare the original documents with the copies in case you do not have the certified copies. Working Holidays Scheme

Overview
With the aim of giving young Vietnamese people the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the culture and general way of life of Japan, the working holiday scheme will allow those who meet the conditions to stay on holiday in Japan for up to one year and secondarily to take up employment there in order to supplement their travel funds.
Please note that Working Holiday applications must be submitted in person.

Medical Stay

Overview
The visa is issued to foreign patients wishing to visit Japan for medical purposes (including full medical check-ups). The visa is issued to their accompanying person(s) as well if necessary and as needed.
