VISA TYPES

Select the visa type that is right for you to see important information on visa fees, documents required, forms, photo specifications and processing times.

Visa Types

Single Entry Visa

  • Only a single-entry is permitted for the duration of the visa.
  • Valid for 90 days from the date it had been issued.

Double Entry Visa

  • Individuals, except for medical tourism visa applicants, who wants to visit Korea twice within six months of Immigration (In case of medical tourists, eligibility will be in accordance with 'medical tourism guidelines’)
  • Double-entry Visa holder can stay for 30 days in the validity of 6 months.

Multiple-entry visa

  • Multiple entries are permitted for as long as visa remains valid.
    • Visa provided under multiple-entry visa Agreement: duration specified by an agreement.
    • Applicants who are applying for Business visa may apply for Multiple-entry visa however Embassy of the Republic of Korea, Abuja reserves the right to grant Multiple/Single Entry Visa to the applicants based on their discretion

  • Required qualification for Multiple visa (c-3)

    • Resident card holder of OECD Countries or having visited OECD Countries twice within two years (Except Korea)
    • Government official to submit to the Embassy or government operated enterprise workers
    • Employees of Airlines or shipping companies which have lines with Korea
    • Internationally recognized Credit card VIPs (Gold or platinum card holders)
    • An applicant who visited Korea more than 4 times within 2 years or total of 5 times.
    • An applicant who has a purpose of establishing company in Korea for natural resources, energy development and sales. An applicant who are invited by public corporation for business talk or contract.
    • A Korean’s spouse or children who has foreign nationality
    • A spouse or children of Multiple visa holder (C-3 visa)

  • All supporting documents should be produced either in Nigeria or in Korea
    (Except for Liberia or Sierra Leone)

  • Each applicant should come in person to submit his/her own application. A visa receiving staff should inform the applicant that if an application form is not filled out by himself/herself, the application could be rejected.
    (Group applications by a representative should be approved by Embassy in advance)

  • Visa application form must be filled out completely. Incompletely filled out application form can be a cause for rejection.

  • The applicant from government workers should visit the Embassy.
    (In case they have the official letter issued by Ministry of Foreign Affairs)

    These categories of Visa are for applicant who intend to visit the Republic of Korea for the purpose of attending conferences, events, meetings or visit family member, they will not be allowed to take up employment or engage in any other activities aside from the one stated above while in the Republic of Korea.

  • Photo Specifications

    One passport photo (size 2" x 2", color) must be attached on the form (next to the section 1.1 , please use glue stick or scotch tape only

  • Processing Time

    Processing period usually takes around 10~15 business days (two~three weeks). However, the Embassy is currently dealing with an unusually high level of visa application. Thus, processing time could take up to a month.
