Schengen Visa - Type C
-
Overview
Find out whether, depending on your citizenship, country of long-term residence, and the duration and reasons for your stay, you need a visa to enter Singapore. The applicant will have to provide evidence that he/she falls under this category. Kindly refer to the documents required page to make sure you have all the supporting documents.
The visa can be valid for maximum 90 days in the course of a period of 180 days. The period is calculated from the date you first crossed the external Schengen border. The visa’s validity period, first possible day of entry and the day you must leave the Schengen area are written on the visa sticker.
A visa does not entitle you to work or carry out any business activities during your visit.
Who is eligible to apply for a Schengen visa at the Slovenian Embassy?
Before beginning the application process, please make sure that you have met the following eligibility requirements:
- Applications and supporting documents can only be submitted within 6 months of your intended entry date into the Schengen region.
- An applicant must have a valid passport/travel document, issued within the last 10 years and with at least 2 blank pages. The passport must be valid for at least 3 months from the applicant's departure date from the Schengen area. The passport must contain the applicant’s signature.
- An applicant must have valid residency in New Zealand and hold a current New Zealand return visa, valid for multiple travels to and from New Zealand, for at least 3 months from their departure date from the Schengen area.
- In order to apply for a Schengen visa through the Slovenian Embassy, the applicant’s main destination in the Schengen area must be Slovenia. If you will be visiting more than one Schengen country during the same travel, the main destination is determined by your purpose for visiting and the length of stay in each country. If no main destination can be determined, you must lodge your application with the mission of the country you will enter first. If you are unable to determine your main destination in the Schengen region, please seek clarification from VFS or the Slovenian Embassy in Canberra before applying.
