Overview
Individuals travelling to Sweden as business travellers and representatives of business organizations can apply for this Schengen visa. Please note you will have to provide evidence that you fall under this category.
Important Information for Non‑Indonesian Applicants
Non‑Indonesian citizens or individuals who do not hold valid legal residency in Indonesia are required to submit their visa applications in the country where they lawfully reside, which is usually their home country.
However, foreign nationals who are legally residing in Indonesia (for example, holding a valid KITAS or KITAP) may submit their visa application in Indonesia, provided they can demonstrate lawful residency.
In accordance with Article 6(1) of the Schengen Visa Code, applicants must lodge their Schengen visa application at the competent authorities of the country where they are legally resident.
Important Notice
Non‑Indonesian citizens who are not legally resident in Indonesia and nevertheless choose to submit their applications in Jakarta or Bali should be aware that:- Their application may be rejected or declared inadmissible, and
- Visa application fees are non‑refundable, regardless of the outcome.

A Photograph submitted with the application form should comply with the following specifications:
- 1 Color photographs printed on normal photographic paper
- Passport sized 45mm x 35mm or 2 inches
- White background
- Taken not later than 6 months
- Close up of your head and top of your shoulders so that your face takes up 70 -80% of the photograph
- In sharp focus and clear of high quality with no ink marks or creases
- Should be without sunglasses, hat or cap
- Remarks: The above photograph requirement also applies to minors from 0-11 years old.

Processing Time
The processing time will normally be about 15 days depending on the number of applications submitted (excluding the shipping days from Visa Application Centre to Embassy and Embassy to Visa Application Centre ). However, in some cases the procedure may take considerably longer.

Forms listed below must be filled in completely (in English or in Swedish languages only) and must be signed by the applicant himself/herself.
Please note that application form for Schengen visa should be signed. Application forms without a signature would not be accepted.

Tourist visa is granted for those where the intention is to visit Sweden for tourism and sightseeing without having an invitation from a Swedish referent.

Individuals intending to visit family and friends legally residing in Sweden can apply for Schengen visa. An applicant will have to provide evidence that he/she falls under this category.
