Overview

48 Hours Visa: This Visa is valid only for 48 hours stay (As per flight schedule - Arrival/departure time in Dubai). This is Single Entry visa. Ideal for travellers to the UAE who plan to stay for a period of less than 48 Hours. This type of Visa is preferred by travellers having business meetings or taking stopovers en route to their onward journey. The entry validity of the visa is for 30 days from the date of issue.

• Kindly Note: The above visa is valid for a period of 30 days from the date of issue.
• (Duration of stay: 48 hours, Visa fees inclusive of service charge and tax).
• Please Note: The cancellation charge per visa is 390 (GHS). Cancellation request can be raised with the application centre where you have submitted the visa application and for applications that are approved.
• * Visa fee once paid is not refundable under any circumstances.

Mandatory Documents

• Visa Application form duly filled*
• Confirmed onward ticket copy of Emirates Airline. ** 48 hours visa can be applied only if passenger has a confirmed Onward ticket and a valid visa for the country applicant is coming from and leaving to from UAE.
• One coloured recent passport-size photograph with white background, front facing.
• Coloured photocopy of the Passport Front/External Cover page and Bio page (Valid for minimum period of 6 months at the time of travel). Passports containing special characters such as brackets in the name will not be accepted and must be amended prior to visa submission.
• Applicants must provide a valid visa for the destination country they are traveling to from the UAE.
• A valid confirmed Hotel booking. Applicant’s name and check-in/out dates highlighted in yellow (Check- in, Check- out dates on the hotel confirmation must match the dates on flight tickets).
• Coloured photocopy of a valid visa or residence proof if the Nationality is different from the Country of Residence.

Eligibility Criteria

Criteria I: Travel Record

Applicants who have travelled at least once in the last 3 years to or has a valid visa for countries like USA, UK, Schengen countries, European Union, Australia, New Zealand, Russia, Canada, Switzerland and Japan.

Documents Required:

• Pages in the Previous / Current passport exhibiting the evidence of the travel / visa stamped.

Criteria II: Financial Records

Applicants not qualifying as per Criteria I (Travel Record) are required to submit proof of minimum gross income from business, profession or employment, which should exceed GHS 1500 per month. Businessmen and Professionals need to submit copies of bank statements of last 06 months along with originals for verification, with a company covering letter stating the purpose of visit.

Employed individuals need to submit salary slips of last 03 months and company covering letter confirming the employment.

Security Deposit equivalent to GHS 4750 (Refundable upon return and after producing the entry & exit stamp in UAE).

Criteria III: Invitation from immediate family member residing in UAE on family status

Supporting documents required:

• Valid tenancy contract /Ejari or title deed of the host. **Host should have an apartment with two or more bedrooms.
• Relationship with the Host.
• UAE resident card of the Host.

Newly Married Couple:

In case of the spouse’s name not endorsed on the passport;

Supporting documents required:

• Marriage Certificate / Notarised Affidavit.
• Newly married couples traveling immediately after marriage are required to submit NOC from parents with photo id proof, Wedding card and Marriage photograph of the couple.

• Selection / determination of a visa category are based on Emirates ticket itinerary.
• Emirates regret its inability to sponsor unaccompanied minors and students. Dubai immigration will consider applications from minors and students only if they are travelling with parents.

96 Hours Visa: This Visa is valid only for 96 hours and is ideal for travellers to the UAE who plan to stay for a period of less than 4 days. Short Term Visit Single Entry – (Tourist): The entry validity for all types of tourist visa is 58 days from the date of issue (Valid until date mentioned on visa). After entry in Dubai stay validity of visa can be extended thrice for 30days each. Extension fee is AED 850 each time.

This type of Visa is preferred by travellers going to UAE for holidays, visit family / friends or for business trainings etc. After entry in Dubai stay validity of visa can be extended twice with first extension allowed for 30 days and second extension for 20 days. Extension fee is AED 850 each time.

Multi Entry Short Term Visa - 30 Days: This is a multiple entry visa and the first entry in UAE should be made within validity period of 58 days (valid until date mentioned on visa). With effect from the date of FIRST entry visa is valid for 30 days. Within the period of these 30 days traveller can make multiple entries / exits to / from UAE. However, traveller should make sure his/her last exit from UAE should be on or before 30th day.

After entry in Dubai stay validity of visa can be extended thrice for 30days each. Extension fee is AED 850 each time.

• Confirmed Return/Onward Emirates ticket, highlighting the applicant's name, entry and exit from the UAE in yellow.
• One coloured recent passport-size photograph with white background, front facing.
• Coloured photocopy of the Passport Front/External Cover page and Bio page (Valid for minimum period of 6 months at the time of travel). Passports containing special characters such as brackets in the name will not be accepted and must be amended prior to visa submission.
• Confirmed hotel voucher with confirmation number, applicant's name, check-in, check-out dates highlighted in yellow for the entire stay. (Check- in, Check- out dates on the hotel confirmation must match the dates on flight tickets). Note that only up to two hotel bookings are allowed for the entire stay period. For 60-day single entry visa, Hotel booking should be 31days or more.
• If visiting Family or Friends: Provide a valid tenancy contract /Ejari or title deed of the host, if the sponsor has an apartment with two or more bedrooms, UAE resident card.(Highlight the tenant's name in yellow).
• Coloured photocopy of a valid visa or residence proof if the Nationality is different from the Country of Residence.

Processing Time

Normal Visa Processing Time: 5 – 6 working days from the date of submission (Excluding Saturday, Sunday and any UAE Holiday).

Eligibility Criteria

Criteria I: Travel Record

Applicants who have travelled at least once in the last 3 years to or has a valid visa for countries like USA, UK, Schengen countries, European Union, Australia, New Zealand, Russia, Canada, Switzerland and Japan.

Documents Required:

• Pages in the Previous / Current passport exhibiting the evidence of the travel / visa stamped.

Criteria II: Financial Records

Applicants not qualifying as per Criteria I (Travel Record) are required to submit proof of minimum gross income from business, profession or employment, which should exceed GHS 1500 per month. Businessmen and Professionals need to submit copies of bank statements of last 06 months along with originals for verification, with a company covering letter stating the purpose of visit.

Employed individuals need to submit salary slips of last 03 months and company covering letter confirming the employment.

Security Deposit equivalent to GHS 4750 (Refundable upon return and after producing the entry & exit stamp in UAE).

Criteria III: Invitation from immediate family member residing in UAE on family status

Supporting documents required:

• Valid tenancy contract /Ejari or title deed of the host. **Host should have an apartment with two or more bedrooms.
• Relationship with the Host.
• UAE resident card of the Host.

Newly Married Couple:

In case of the spouse’s name not endorsed on the passport;

Supporting documents required:

• Marriage Certificate / Notarised Affidavit.
• Newly married couples traveling immediately after marriage are required to submit NOC from parents with photo id proof, Wedding card and Marriage photograph of the couple.

• Selection / determination of a visa category are based on Emirates ticket itinerary.
• Emirates regret its inability to sponsor unaccompanied minors and students. Dubai immigration will consider applications from minors and students only if they are travelling with parents.

Overview

Multi Entry Long Term Visa - 60 days : This is a multiple entry visa and the first entry in UAE should be made within validity period of 58 days (valid until date mentioned on visa). With effect from the date of FIRST entry visa is valid for 60 days. Within the period of these 60 days traveller can make multiple entries / exits to / from UAE. However, Traveller should make sure his/her last exit from UAE should be on or before 60th day.

After entry in Dubai stay validity of visa can be extended twice for 30days each. Extension fee is AED 850 each time.
