Our additional services allow the applicants to obtain personalized assistance from professionally trained staff for completing and submitting their visa application. Please see below a brief description of the services we intend to offer at the Portuguese Visa Application Centers:

In order to make your visa process simpler and more convenient, VFS offers a wide range of additional services. Adhesion to them is optional and they are hired only by their choice. The use of any of these services will in no way impact your application decision.

Photocopy Services

Submitting high-quality copies of your documents is an essential part of the visa application process. If you have all your documents with you, we can help by making all the necessary copies.

The price quoted is per photocopy/page.

High-quality printed submission is an essential part of the visa application process. If you have your documents by email, we can assist with the necessary printing.

Photographs

Photographs as per ICAO specifications can be obtained in the Visa Application Centre.

SMS Text

In order to inform the applicant about the visa application status during the entire visa application life cycle, SMS service sends automated confirmation feedback messages to applicant’s mobile phone and automated email messages to applicant’s email address.

Courier Service Regular and Express

Using the Courier Service allows applicants to have their Passport/Travel document returned by Special Delivery; here VFS uses the services of the courier company to any delivery address Brazil chosen by the applicant. This can be purchased at the time of the visa application submission and you will receive a Tracking number, which can be used on the courier company’s website in order to obtain an update about the courier process at any given time.

Internet Kiosk

This service offers assisted support for document preparation, allowing applicants to send their files via email. The VFS Global team downloads, organizes, and prints the documents, ensuring their correct inclusion in the application process efficiently and in a standardized manner.

Prime Time Collection

Enjoy the convenience of picking up your passport outside of regular hours. This service is aimed at clients who need greater scheduling flexibility, allowing them to pick up their passport at any time during the Visa Application Center's operating hours.

Prime Time Submission

This service allows applicants to submit their visa applications outside of scheduled hours, subject to confirmation by the Visa Application Centre of their choice. This option provides greater flexibility and efficiency, making it ideal for clients with tight schedules

Premium Lounge (São Paulo only)

The Premium Lounge offers a differentiated and exclusive experience within the Visa Application Center. The service includes priority service in a comfortable and private environment, and dedicated support to ensure a smoother and more efficient application.

Appeal Fee

Please be advised that if your visa application is denied, a fee of 75 euros must be paid for the process of appeal of the same. This fee must be paid by bank deposit or pix following the instructions that will be sent by email, and the original of payment receipt must be sent to the Visa Application Center together with the documents for appeal.

Please note: the appeal fee is non-refundable and does not guarantee that your visa application will be granted.

How to Pay your VFS Fees

Payments will be collected directly at the time of your interview by Visa, Master or Elo debit card.
