1. Applicants should submit their passports along with the hardcopies of the documents and 2 biometric photos as per specification
2. VFS will accept applications as per the document checklists provided by Turkey Consulate, Mumbai. Documents will be arranged as per the order given in the checklist. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
3. If an application is rejected, the applicant cannot reapply for 06 months
4. Applicant can apply maximum 60 days in advance for Turkey Visa.

For applicants applying in New Delhi, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Jalandhar, Gurgaon, Kolkata and Kathmandu

1. Applicants should submit their passports along with the hardcopies of the documents and 2 biometric photos as per specification
2. VFS will accept applications as per the document checklists provided by the Embassy of Turkey, New Delhi. Documents will be arranged as per the order given in the checklist.
3. Original Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) from passport office is a mandatory document attested by Ministry of External Affairs.(exempt for Turkey Visa) for both Patient and Donor Not applicable for Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Pune, Goa, Bangalore, Chennai, Cochin, Trivandrum and Pondicherry.
4. Minimum Processing time is 15 working days from the date of submission at Turkish Embassy.
5. For Work Permit cases minimum processing time is 25 working days.
6. If an application is rejected, the applicant cannot reapply for 15 days from date of refusal.

For applicants applying in Hyderabad

1. Applicants should submit their passports along with the hardcopies of the documents and 2 biometric photos as per specification
2. VFS will accept applications as per the document checklists provided by the Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey, Hyderabad . Documents will be arranged as per the order given in the checklist.
3. Minimum Processing time is 3 working days from the date of submission at Turkish Embassy.
4. For Work Permit cases minimum processing time is 25 working days.
5. If an application is rejected, the applicant cannot reapply for 01 Month from date of refusal.
6. Jurisdiction: Consulate General of Turkey in Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh, Telengana, Orissa and Chhattisgarh.
7. If an applicant wants to submit an application with urgent travel dates VFS can accept it, however the discretion to grant or refuse the visa application is completely at the discretion of the Turkey Consulate.

6. For work permit applications -"NAME OF HOST PERSON OR HOST COMPANY" should be "HOST COMPANY NAME" mentioned on the contract copy.
7. For work permit applications - No of Days to be mention is 90 days from date of travel and will be single entry visa only.
8. Personal covering letter from the Donor & Recipient stating the purpose of visit to Turkey including the duration of stay, expenses clause and guarantee clause.
9. If Donor or Recipient is a working professional then Original leave sanction letter on the Company letterhead with authorized name and signatory.
10. If Self-employed or a Businessman or a Proprietor of a firm then the applicant should give covering letter on firms letterhead and must attach Business proof like Company Registration (Attested by Notary & Mantralaya) or Recommendation letter from the relevant Chamber of Commerce.
11. Letter from the respective Doctor(s) of Donor and Recipient which should mention the medical history of both on respective clinic’s letterhead.

Documents Required for Medical Visa (Delhi and satellites)

1. Manually filled visa application form by blue or black pen in capital letters with 1 photograph affixed to it, signed by the applicant.
2. The original passport should be issued less than 10 years with a minimum validity of 6 months beyond the intended duration of stay in Turkish territory and with at least two full blank pages.
3. 2 biometric photos with a white background that were taken within the last 6 months, depicting the full face including ears and all hair, clearly and completely visible without shadow, in 2.5inch x 2.5inch size.
4. Personal covering letter from the Donor & Recipient stating the purpose of visit to Turkey including the duration of stay, expenses clause and guarantee clause
5. Travel insurance (valid for at least duration of the trip in Turkey)
6. Confirmed reservation of round trip flight ticket
7. Invitation letter from the respective medical institute in Turkey specified the full name and passport number of the applicant (original or colour copy)
8. Hotel Reservations
9. Bank statement for last 3 months with sufficient balance
10. If Donor or Recipient is a working professional then original leave sanction letter on the company letterhead with authorized name and signatory.
11. If Self-employed or a Businessman or a Proprietor of a firm then the applicant should give covering letter on firms letterhead and must attach business proof like Company Registration (Attested by Notary & Mantralaya) or Recommendation letter from the relevant Chamber of Commerce.
12. If Applicant has not enough funds or bank account, financial support letter from the sponsor notarized.
13. Letter from the respective Doctor(s) of Donor and Recipient which should mention the medical history of both on respective clinic’s letterhead.
14. Minors need consent letter from both parents in all cases (even though minor is travelling with both parents). The consent NOC must be on stamp paper with photos of parents and applicant and notarized.
15. If Agent is making the application on behalf of the applicant, letter of attorney from every applicant, in original.

Note: Outstation passports can be accepted for medical cases but this is not applicable for Nepal passport holders .Bank statements are mandatory but salary slips are not mandatory. If the leave letter does not mention that the applicant is going for a ‘treatment/transplant’ ,it can be accepted. After,the consulate verifies the documents submitted by the applicant, the consulate holds the right to ask for additional documents depending on the case if required.

Applicants from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Orissa who wish to travel to Turkey need to submit the below documents;

1. Original Passport (Passport must be valid for at least 6 months upon arrival in Turkey and have 2 full blank pages available (Previous passport needs to be submitted if current passport is issued after 2015)
2. Personal covering letter from the Donor & Recipient stating the purpose of visit to Turkey including the duration of stay, expenses clause and guarantee clause.
3. If Donor or Recipient is a working professional then Original leave sanction letter on the Company letterhead with authorized name and signatory.
4. If the applicant has his own business/partner/proprieter/director,please provide incorporation certificate/memorandum of association/partnership deed/proprietorship proof and applicants’s name should be mentioned. Original Notary needs to be done for each applicant irrespective of whether the applicant is travelling in a group or not.
5. Letter from the respective Doctor(s) of Donor and Recipient which should mention the medical history of both on respective clinic’s letterhead.

• It should be of high quality with no ink marks and creases.
• The photograph must show you looking directly at the camera.
• It should be 2.5 inch X 2.5 inch with White Background and 70% face visible.
• It should show your skin tone naturally.
• It should have appropriate brightness and contrast.
• The photograph should be a recent one not more than 3 months old.
• It is to be taken without headgear.
• It should be without hat/cap.
• It should be with the applicant's hair tucked behind his/her ears.
• The photograph should not have any staple marks.
