Work Permit

For applicants applying in Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Goa, Bangalore, Chennai, Cochin, Trivandrum, and Puducherry.

1. Applicants should submit their passports along with the hardcopies of the documents and 2 biometric photos as per specification
2. VFS will accept applications as per the document checklists provided by Turkey Consulate, Mumbai. Documents will be arranged as per the order given in the checklist. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
3. If an application is rejected, the applicant cannot reapply for 06 months
4. Applicant can apply maximum 60 days in advance for Turkey Visa.

For applicants applying in New Delhi, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Jalandhar, Gurgaon, Kolkata and Kathmandu

1. Applicants should submit their passports along with the hardcopies of the documents and 2 biometric photos as per specification
2. VFS will accept applications as per the document checklists provided by the Embassy of Turkey, New Delhi. Documents will be arranged as per the order given in the checklist.
3. Minimum Processing time is 15 working days from the date of submission at Turkish Embassy.
4. For Work Permit cases minimum processing time is 25 working days.
5. If an application is rejected, the applicant cannot reapply for 15 days from date of refusal.

For applicants applying in Hyderabad

1. Applicants should submit their passports along with the hardcopies of the documents and 2 biometric photos as per specification
2. VFS will accept applications as per the document checklists provided by the Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey, Hyderabad . Documents will be arranged as per the order given in the checklist.
3. Minimum Processing time is 3 working days from the date of submission at Turkish Embassy.
4. For Work Permit cases minimum processing time is 25 working days.
5. If an application is rejected, the applicant cannot reapply for 01 Month from date of refusal.
6. Jurisdiction: Consulate General of Turkey in Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh, Telengana, Orissa and Chhattisgarh.
7. If an applicant wants to submit an application with urgent travel dates VFS can accept it, however the discretion to grant or refuse the visa application is completely at the discretion of the Turkey Consulate.

For Applicant’s applying at Visa Application Center in Kathmandu, Nepal

Applicants need to Submit the hardcopy of ministry approval when applicant/agent submitting passport with visa fee for work visa.

Jurisdiction for applicants applying from Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Cochin, Trivandrum, Pondicherry and Goa.

1. Original Passport (Passport must be valid for at least 6 months upon arrival in Turkey and should have at least 2 full blank pages available in it). Also provide 2 photo copies of Passport first and last page.

   Note: Passports which are not issued in jurisdiction for applicants applying under the jurisdiction of Consulate General of Turkey Mumbai need to be submitted with local address proof which consists of Valid Lease and Licence copy, Purchase/ Sales agreement. (All the documents must be notarized)

   Aadhar Card, Electricity Bill can also be submitted with Notary and Mantralaya.

2. Passport must be valid for at least 6 months upon arrival in Turkey and have 2 full blank pages available
3. Visa application form filled with 2 white background having size 2.5inch x 2.5inch
4. Covering letter from the applicant mentioning the purpose of stay in details, duration of stay and expenses clause.

5. Online form filling format for sticker visa

   1. Online form needs to be filled in CAPITAL LETTERS only for all categories.
   2. For all categories - Mother and Father name needs to be mention in online form.
   3. For Tourist & Business - No of Travel days should be 02 days extra from the date of departure in Turkey.
   4. For all categories - In case of no surname then two dots without space (..) needs to be mention in field Surname.
   5. For work permit applications -"NAME OF HOST PERSON OR HOST COMPANY" should be "HOST COMPANY NAME" mentioned on the contract copy.
   6. For work permit applications - No of Days to be mention is 90 days from date of travel and will be single entry visa only.
6. Original letter from current employer on company letter head. The letter should clearly describe the employee’s details viz: profession, designation, period of work, purpose of appointment in Turkey with authorized signatory, name and designation with company seal and contact numbers
7. Original Educational credentials (University, diploma) are also mandatory.
8. 2 photo copies of Passport first and last page.
9. You also need to submit foreigners employment contract application filled in Turkish (by your office in Turkey) with relevant sign and seal along with the above mentioned documents.
10. Persons applying for work permit must inform their employer/firm in Turkey to submit the originals of the forms and documents required by the “Implementation statute of the law no 4817 on the work permit of foreigners” at the Turkish Ministry of Labor and Social Security within 10 days of submission at the Mumbai / Delhi / Hyderabad Consulate.
11. Work permits are issued only after prior approval by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security for foreign personnel within scope of applicable Laws.
12. Application for Work permit visa may take a minimum of 4 weeks or more for processing.
13. An individual who travels to Turkey on a visa other than the “Work visa” cannot be employed.

Documents for Work Permit Visa under Delhi and Jurisdiction.

1. Manually filled visa application form by blue or black pen in capital letters with 1 photograph affixed to it, signed by the applicant.
2. The original passport should be issued less than 10 years with a minimum validity of 1 year for Indian nationals or 2 years for Nepalese nationals beyond the intended duration of stay in Turkish territory and with at least two full blank pages.
3. 2 biometric photos with a white background that were taken within the last 6 months, depicting the full face including ears and all hair, clearly and completely visible without shadow, in 2.5inch x 2.5inch size.
4. Employment Agreement from Turkey Company (English + Turkish)
5. Original Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) is a mandatory document
6. If Agent is making the application on behalf of the applicant, letter of attorney from every applicant, in original
7. Copies of first and last pages of the passport
8. Trade Registry Gazette (Ticaret Sicili Gazetesi) of the company in Turkey (Optional)
9. Invitation letter from the company, from Turkey specified the full name and passport number of the applicant (Optional)
10. Chamber of Commerce Certificate of the Company in Turkey (Optional)
11. Signature circulars of company (notarized) in Turkey (Optional)
12. Original relieving letter from present company on company letter head. The letter should clearly describe the employee’s details viz: profession, designation; period of work; purpose of appointment in Turkey with authorized signatory, name and designation with company seal and contact numbers. 13. Copies of educational certificates of applicant (university, diploma) (Optional)

For Applicant applying for Work permit in Hyderabad

1. Original passport (must be valid for at least 6 months upon arrival in Turkey and have 2 full blank pages available (Previous passport needs to be submitted if current passport is issued after 2015)
2. Visa application form filled with BLOCK letters only and must sign on the hard copy https://www.konsolosluk.gov.tr/
3. 02 white background not older than 6 months’ photographs. Size 50*50 mm (2.5 inch x 2.5 inch), Full face, front view, eyes open, natural expression, Height of the head between 25-35mm) 5.
4.  Photo copies of Passport first and last page.
5.  Job agreement /Contract. Written both English or Turkish
6. Invitation letter from the company in Turkey
7. Signature circulars of company (notarized) in Turkey which needs the Director’s ID proof (notarized) and the signatures of the Directors in Turkey.
8. Turkey Trade registry gazette
9. Police Clearance Certificate (PCC)
10. Copies of Educational Certificates

NOTE: The Embassy / Consulate reserve the right to ask for a Personal Interview or Additional Documents.

• It should be in sharp focus and clean.
• It should be of high quality with no ink marks and creases.
• The photograph must show you looking directly at the camera.
• It should be 2.5 inch X 2.5 inch with White Background and 70% face visible.
• It should show your skin tone naturally.
• It should have appropriate brightness and contrast.
• The photograph should be a recent one not more than 3 months old.
• It is to be taken without headgear.
• It should be without hat/cap.
• It should be with the applicant's hair tucked behind his/her ears.
• The photograph should not have any staple marks.
