SMS and e-mail news update will be sent to your mobile phone and your registered e-mail address provided in your application form, informing the status of your visa application. At the end of the process you will receive an automated messages informing you that Embassy of Latvia has made a decision on your visa application (not the outcome of decision on your visa application).

You can choose to have your passport returned by courier (within Thailand). The passports will be returned to your desired address through courier service by paying a nominal additional charge.

You may require photocopies of recommended supporting documentation. VFS Global can take copies for you at the Visa Application Centre at extra cost.

This service is ideal for those who are always on the move or who want the reassurance of knowing their application form is completed correctly. VFS Global staff will read out the questions on the visa application form and will record the answers exactly as you give them. You will also need to answer all the questions on the form in order to apply. Staff will not be able to answer questions on your behalf or fill in answers based on assumptions.

If you are busy and unable to find time applying for your visa during regular office hours, here's great news for you! You may submit your visa application from 16:00 – 16:30 Monday to Friday (except holidays) through VFS Global. You may make your appointment online and choose Prime Time category

Applicants using this service can have their photograph taken at the Visa Application Centre. The price mentioned above is for 4 passport size photographs.

Self-service printing for your documents (black and white copies only) is available at the Visa Application Centre for a fee.

You can use Internet and have documents printed online at the Visa Application Centre.

Fees:

Internet usage starts at 65 THB as a registration and is charged 1 THB per minute.

The Assured Courier is an optional service to accompany purchase of Courier Return. This service offers applicants an option of an enhanced compensation amount per passport in case of damage or loss in transit during document transportation with a cover.

Get all your supporting documents translated to English from the local language at the Visa Application Centre. It is mandatory for each visa type to submit the supporting documents in English. This service is convenient for applicants who need translating their documents. Prize proposed is for per page

Applicants can send their visa applications directly to the VFS Global visa application centre if they have submitted their biometric data to a Schengen-State-Mission within the last 59 months. Please note that in this case no additional VFS service fee has to be paid. If the courier service has not been booked, the passport has to be picked up at our visa application centre. To be kept up to date on the application process and receive the passport back at the desired address, VFS Global is offering a Courier Service (THB 220) and a SMS Solution (THB 75).

In your request please specify the amount of applications to be checked and your mobile phone number. We will revert back to you with an email and sms with further instructions and online payment link. Kindly note, that the online payment link is valid for 30 minutes.

VFS Global is pleased to be able to offer an Automated Call Back service which updates customers in Thailand on the progress of their Latvian visa applications. The easy to use Automated Call Back service sends automated calls to the applicant's mobile phone at two stages of the visa application process. This is followed up with an automated voice calls to the applicants informing them of the status of their visa application. Calls are available in English.

The Embassy of Latvia in China, for the convenience of applicants/ representatives of Thailand has initiated a Video Conferencing service. Applicants (who are invited to be interviewed based on the documents Embassy receive) have a choice between being interviewed at the VFS Visa center for a fee or come to the Embassy in Beijing.

The Video conferencing service is currently available at VFS Global centre in Bangkok at an additional charge of THB 1580 per application.
