Visa Fees

Dear applicants, please note that visa center accepts application from Russian nationals only. All other nationals should apply directly at the Consulate General of Japan in Khabarovsk.

Visa for Russian nationals is free of charge, they only have to pay service fee in the amount of 2500 Rubles per visa application inclusive of VAT.

Information on payments:

• Service fee can be paid at the visa application center in cash or by card;
• Service fee is non-refundable;
• Payments can be done in Rubles only.

2. Guarantee letter from the Tour company in Japan

3. Documents from the travel agency in Japan ( the guarantor -one of the following document required)

   • Certificate of the registration of the company (valid for 3 months since the date of issue)
   • Copy of quarterly report of the company (for the latest period of the year)
   • Detailed information of the company

4. Documents from the travel company explaining the purpose of visit to Japan

   1. Proof of hotel reservation
   2. Proof of flight reservation

NOTE:- In case the documents mentioned in p.3 have been already submitted to the Consulate processing this application during the current calendar year, the copies can be submitted. Originals are not required.

Overview

Short term (single/multi) visa for a spouse of a citizen of Japan

All documents should be submitted within 3 months since the issue date (if other is not specified for any documents – if documents have a specified time limits of validity, they should be submitted within this period)

【Who can apply?】

• A spouse of a citizen of Japan who currently lives in Russia and has a right to legally live or work in the location where he or she apply for a visa
• A person who got married more than a year ago

• A person who never violated Japanese laws while being in Japan, including a Law of the Control over

  Emigration and Immigration, a law of determination of refugees status

5. Employment certificate of a person who provides family living or a document which replaces Employment certificate.
6. Income certificate of a person who provides family living or a document which replaces income certificate

Overview

If your travel to Japan is for one of the following purpose, you are eligible to apply for this visa. If the self is responsible for all expenses regarding the trip.

• Close blood relatives or Spouses
• Visiting Friends
• Invitation from a private person

Visa Fees

Dear applicants, please note that visa center accepts application from Russian nationals only. All other nationals should apply directly at the Consulate General of Japan in Khabarovsk.

Visa for Russian nationals is free of charge, they only have to pay service fee in the amount of 2500 Rubles per visa application inclusive of VAT.

Information on payments:

• Service fee can be paid at the visa application center in cash or by card;
• Service fee is non-refundable;
• Payments can be done in Rubles only.

Photo Specifications

Please read the specifications for photographs carefully before submitting your visa application.

Please submit two photograph along with your visa application. The photograph must be:

• Not more than 6 months old
• 4.5 x 4.5
• Either black-and-white or colored, with plain background
• Taken looking straight forward and face seen clearly

Processing Time

We recommend you to apply at least two (2) weeks before the planned trip. Some applications may require further processing. Please note that all applications are processed individually. The Consulate General of Japan in Khabarovsk may request further documentation, information or you may be called for an interview which can prolong the processing time.

Overview

If your travel to Japan is for one of the following purpose, you are eligible to apply for this visa. Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of Japan on simplifying the procedures for issuing visas to the citizens of both countries.

1. Applicants bound for the purpose of doing business, as well as representatives of commercial organizations;
2. Applicants engaged in educational, scientific, artistic and other cultural activities;
3. Participants of international sports events and persons accompanying them in a professional capacity;
4. Members of the mass media, going for short-term trips to comment particular events;
5. Participants of official exchange programs between twin administrative-territorial units;
6. Spouses and children under 21 (twenty-one), children of Russian citizens legally residing in Japan.
