Overview

Important changes to the Visitor visa programme – from 30 September 2021

From 30 September 2021, all customers applying for a Visitor Visa (subclass 600) from outside Australia in any stream must lodge their application online via ImmiAccount. Customers applying for a Visitor Visa (subclass 600) in Australia in the Tourist stream may lodge their application online via ImmiAccount or by posting their application to the Sydney office. The courier option will no longer be available.

Note:

VFS Global can assist customers by completing the data entry of an application and uploading the supporting documents online, on their behalf, under VFS Global’s Online ImmiAccount by charging the approved rates. This service includes upload of the documents at the time of application and any subsequent documents, as and when requested, by the application processing authority only.

The service will be available with prior appointment and to schedule an appointment please click here. Customers are required to bring in their Credit Card to use for payment of their Visa application fee. The payment can only be made online in AUD (Australian Dollar). Customers are encouraged to bring along all the information and supporting documents at the time of their appointment to avoid any delays.

Biometric submission for Visa Applications:

As per the process, applicants are required to visit a VAC for enrolling their Biometrics.

Customers will receive an auto confirmation on the email ID provided at the time of application with the details that will be required for enrolling the Biometrics.
