Short Team Visa (C Visa)
Short term visa can be single, double or multiple entry. The maximal period of its validity is 5 years. Irrespective of visa validity it is allowed to stay in Bulgaria for not more than 90 days within 180 day period. Bulgaria Visa Application Centers accept visa applications for short term visas for the following visa types:
- Business/ Work
- Tourism / Other private visits
- Transit
- Close relatives'/Family members' visits
- Cultural, sport or scientific activities or education

Overview
- Currently Bulgaria issues national visas which allow their holders to enter and stay not only in Bulgaria but also in Romania, Croatia and Cyprus. Bulgaria visas do not allow their holders to enter and stay in Schengen countries.
- Bulgaria Visa application center accepts only visa applications for short term visas (C visas). C visas can be one, double and multiple entry. Duration of stay on the territory of Bulgaria cannot exceed 90 days within 180 day period irrespective of visa duration. All the above listed documents are obligatory for submission. Incomplete application package cannot be accepted.
Visa application can be submitted in person, by close relative or by representative:
- In Person (adult applicants only)
- It is necessary to provide internal passport.
- By close relative
Close relatives include spouses, parents, children (including adopted), grandparents, grandchildren. Sisters and brothers as well as other relatives can submit visa applications for each other only based on notarized power of attorney.
Your close relative should provide the following documents:
- Internal passport in original + copy of information page;
- Documents proving relationship: birth certificate, marriage certificate, divorce certificate, name change certificate issued by the Civil Registry Office. Marriage stamp in internal passport as well as information about children are not considered proof of relationship. All certificates should be provided in original or notarized copy. Moreover copies of these documents should be also provided.
- By representative:
- on the basis of notarized power of attorney
Your representative should provide the following documents:
- Internal passport in original + copy of information page;
- Notarized power of attorney for submission documents (original + copy); it should clearly states that authorized representative (full name) is eligible to submit visa application for Bulgaria visa in the Consulate of Bulgaria (or in Bulgaria visa application center).
Power of attorney should contain full name of applicant(s). There should not be any mistakes or corrections. Visa application cannot be accepted without original of power of attorney.
- on the basis of corporate power of attorney (only for business/service/sport/culture purpose of travel)
The power of attorney should be on a headed paper, with a stamp and signature of the head of the company which sends you on a trip. The power of attorney should also contain your passport details and passports details of your colleague who will submit visa application on your behalf.
Your representative should provide the following documents:
- Internal passport in original + copy of information page;
- Power of attorney for document submission (original + copy); visa application will not be accepted without original of power of attorney;
- Certificate of employment (if this is not stated in power of attorney).
- Citizens of those countries who need a visa to visit Bulgaria can also enter the country using valid Schengen visa, Cyprus, Romania or Croatia visa. Number of entries and period of stay will correspond with the ones stated in these visas but not more than 90 days in 180 day period. If applicant still wants to apply documents for Bulgaria visa, visa application centers will accept them.

- You can also enter Bulgaria using valid visa issued in his/her revoked passport on condition that new international passport is also presented. You can enter Bulgaria using Bulgaria, Schengen, Romania, Croatia or Cyprus (except for pro-visas) visa. If applicant wants a visa to be issued in his/her new valid passport visa application center can accept application together with a revocation form and a revoked passport.
- Foreign citizens can apply for Bulgarian visa in case they legally stay on the territory of the Russian Federation on temporary or permanent basis (residence permit or registration for the whole period of visa validity should be provided). Moreover foreign applicants should prove that they legally stay on the territory of the RF with additional documents. Depending on the situation it can be marriage certificate, company registration documents, work permit, patent, etc. It is also required to submit copies of previous Bulgaria and Schengen visas for the last 3 years. Standard processing time is up to 10 days but please note that as per the Agreement between the European Community and the Russian Federation processing time of a visa application can be up to 30 working days, especially if there is a necessity in its additional assessment.
- Citizens of Moldova, Georgia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Albania, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Ukraine who have biometric foreign passports can enter and stay in Bulgaria without a visa for 90 days within 180 day period. Citizens of the above mentioned countries who do not have biometric passports should apply for a Bulgarian visa as per the standard procedure.

Visa Fees
Visa Fees for short term Schengen Visa (Visa C):
- Visa Fee for citizens of Russian Federation and for citizens of countries, which do not have Visa Facilitation Agreement with EU is 90 Euro.
- Visa Fee for citizens of countries, which have Visa Facilitation Agreement with EU is 35 Euro.
VFS service fee for short term Schengen Visa (Visa C):
- In addition to the visa fee, visa centers charge a service fee of 22.8 euros, including VAT, for each application (payment is made in rubles at the exchange rate of the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Russia).
Visa Fee is free for the following categories of applicants:
- Children up to 12 years

Photo Specifications
General information
- Photo should be colored, full-faced and without fringing.
- Photo should have been taken within the last six months.
- Each applicant should submit 1 photo along with visa application.
Photo size
- 35 x 45 mm with face centered in the frame
- Head (from the top of the head to the bottom of the chin) should be about 30 mm.
Photo specifications
- Photo should be taken fullface with applicant facing camera directly.
- Face should cover about 70-80% of the photo.
- Photo should be colored and have white or light background. Photos with dark or patterned background will not be accepted.
- Face should be clearly seen. It is preferable to have ears open.
- Sunglasses or other accessories are not acceptable unless required for medical reasons (e.g. eye patch).
- Photo depicting a person wearing a traditional facemask or a veil that does not permit adequate identification is not acceptable.
Please note:
Kindly follow the instructions above. If photos provided do not correspond with the Consulate requirements your application pack will be considered incomplete. In case you do not have an opportunity to make a photo in advance you can do it in visa application center.

Processing Time
Standard visa application processing time is 5 working days exclusive of submission date, means from the date of delivery of application to the Consulate of Bulgaria in Ekaterinburg (processing times of regional applications can vary as it depends of delivery schedule).
Urgent visa processing time is 3 working days exclusive of submission date.
Please note that as per the Agreement between the European Community and the Russian Federation processing time of a visa application can be up to 30 working days, especially if there is a necessity in its additional assessment.

Russian Law on Data Protection
According to the Federal law of the Russian Federation №152-ФЗ “On personal data” all applicants should sign “The agreement on processing personal data”. Please note that an applicant who submits his/her documents through an authorized representative should prepare this document in advance or provide a power of attorney giving representative a right to sign it on his/her behalf.

Sponsorship letter Revocation form Applicants can request to revoke their valid visas while submission new application only if these valid visas do not fully cover the first planned trip in accordance with supporting documents provided.
If valid visa expires before the planned trip revocation form should be necessarily provided since the Consulate does not accept passports with valid visas for processing.

Visa Fees
Visa and service fees are stated in the table below (please note that all fees are accepted in Rubles only).

- Visa and service fees are stated in Euro. Payments in visa applications centers are carried out in Rubles in accordance with the exchange rate of the Embassy of Bulgaria in Russia (the rule is valid since 25 April, 2016).
- Visa and service fees can be paid in cash or credit card.
- Each applicant needs to pay service fee in the amount of 14 Euro (inclusive of VAT).
- Both visa and service fees are not refundable.
Visa Fee is free for the following categories of applicants:
- Family members of Bulgarian / EU citizens: spouses, unmarried children under 21 or children under 26 if they apply a document from the University proving high residence form of education, parents of Bulgarian / EU citizens (of children under 21 or 26 stated above).
- Close relatives (spouses, children, parents, grandparents, grandchildren) of Russian citizens legally residing in Bulgaria
- Children up to 12 years
- Service passport holders
- Members of official delegations
- Members of national and regional governments and parliaments, constitutional and supreme courts
- Students, pupils and accompanying persons when on study - educational training trip
- Disabled persons and accompanying persons*
- Humanitarian reasons (persons in need of urgent medical treatment, persons that have to assist to a funeral of a close relative etc.)
- Participants of official exchange programs of twin cities
- Participants of youth international sport events and accompanying persons
- Participants of scientific, cultural and artistic activities including university and other exchange programs
- Researchers traveling for the purpose of carrying out scientific research.
* For disabled applicants:
All disabled applicants are exempt from visa and service fees on the basis of disablement certificate issued by the Disability Evaluation Board.
Accompanying persons are exempt from visa and service fees in the following cases only under condition of joint trip and joint submission of visa applications:
- accompanying person for disabled person of group I;
- accompanying person for a disabled child;
- accompanying person for disabled person of group II and III only if there is a certificate from a medical institution proving necessity of accompaniment.
Disabled applicants provided the required certificate from the Disability Evaluation Board who can visit Bulgaria on tourism purpose can apply for double and multi short term visas (both organized and unorganized tourism) with the validity up to 1 year irrespective if they had previous Bulgarian visas or not.
Please note: all the documents for gratis visa must be issued/certified by such state organizations as the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Culture and Sport, the State University etc.

- Foreign citizens can apply for Bulgarian visa in case they legally stay on the territory of the Russian Federation on temporary or permanent basis (residence permit or registration for the whole period of visa validity should be provided). Moreover foreign applicants should prove that they legally stay on the territory of the RF with additional documents. Depending on the situation it can be marriage certificate, company registration documents, work permit, patent, etc. It is also required to submit copies of previous Bulgaria and Schengen visas for the last 3 years. Standard processing time is up to 10 days but please note that as per the Agreement between the European Community and the Russian Federation processing time of a visa application can be up to 30 working days, especially if there is a necessity in its additional assessment.
- Citizens of Moldova, Georgia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Albania, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Ukraine who have biometric foreign passports can enter and stay in Bulgaria without a visa for 90 days within 180 day period. Citizens of the above mentioned countries who do not have biometric passports should apply for a Bulgarian visa as per the standard procedure.

* For disabled applicants:
All disabled applicants are exempt from visa and service fees on the basis of disablement certificate issued by the Disability Evaluation Board.
Accompanying persons are exempt from visa and service fees in the following cases only under condition of joint trip and joint submission of visa applications:
- accompanying person for disabled person of group I;
- accompanying person for a disabled child;
- accompanying person for disabled person of group II and III only if there is a certificate from a medical institution proving necessity of accompaniment.
Disabled applicants provided the required certificate from the Disability Evaluation Board who can visit Bulgaria on tourism purpose can apply for double and multi short term visas (both organized and unorganized tourism) with the validity up to 1 year irrespective if they had previous Bulgarian visas or not.
Please note: all the documents for gratis visa must be issued/certified by such state organizations as the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Culture and Sport, the State University etc.

Overview
- Currently Bulgaria issues national visas which allow their holders to enter and stay not only in Bulgaria but also in Romania, Croatia and Cyprus. Bulgaria visas do not allow their holders to enter and stay in Schengen countries.
- Bulgaria Visa application center accepts only visa applications for short term visas (C visas). C visas can be one, double and multiple entry. Duration of stay on the territory of Bulgaria cannot exceed 90 days within 180 day period irrespective of visa duration. All the above listed documents are obligatory for submission. Incomplete application package cannot be accepted.
Visa application can be submitted in person, by close relative or by representative:
- In Person (adult applicants only)
- It is necessary to provide internal passport.
- By close relative
Close relatives include spouses, parents, children (including adopted), grandparents, grandchildren. Sisters and brothers as well as other relatives can submit visa applications for each other only based on notarized power of attorney.
Your close relative should provide the following documents:
- Internal passport in original + copy of information page;
- Documents proving relationship: birth certificate, marriage certificate, divorce certificate, name change certificate issued by the Civil Registry Office. Marriage stamp in internal passport as well as information about children are not considered proof of relationship. All certificates should be provided in original or notarized copy. Moreover copies of these documents should be also provided.
- By representative:
- on the basis of notarized power of attorney
Your representative should provide the following documents:
- Internal passport in original + copy of information page;
- Notarized power of attorney for submission documents (original + copy); it should clearly states that authorized representative (full name) is eligible to submit visa application for Bulgaria visa in the Consulate of Bulgaria (or in Bulgaria visa application center).
Power of attorney should contain full name of applicant(s). There should not be any mistakes or corrections. Visa application cannot be accepted without original of power of attorney.

The power of attorney should be on a headed paper, with a stamp and signature of the head of the company which sends you on a trip. The power of attorney should also contain your passport details and passports details of your colleague who will submit visa application on your behalf.

- Certificate of employment (if this is not stated in power of attorney).
- Citizens of those countries who need a visa to visit Bulgaria can also enter the country using valid Schengen visa, Cyprus, Romania or Croatia visa. Number of entries and period of stay will correspond with the ones stated in these visas but not more than 90 days in 180 day period. If applicant still wants to apply documents for Bulgaria visa, visa application centers will accept them.

- You can also enter Bulgaria using valid visa issued in his/her revoked passport on condition that new international passport is also presented. You can enter Bulgaria using Bulgaria, Schengen, Romania, Croatia or Cyprus (except for pro-visas) visa. If applicant wants a visa to be issued in his/her new valid passport visa application center can accept application together with a revocation form and a revoked passport.
- Foreign citizens can apply for Bulgarian visa in case they legally stay on the territory of the Russian Federation on temporary or permanent basis (residence permit or registration for the whole period of visa validity should be provided). Moreover foreign applicants should prove that they legally stay on the territory of the RF with additional documents. Depending on the situation it can be marriage certificate, company registration documents, work permit, patent, etc. It is also required to submit copies of previous Bulgaria and Schengen visas for the last 3 years. Standard processing time is up to 10 days but please note that as per the Agreement between the European Community and the Russian Federation processing time of a visa application can be up to 30 working days, especially if there is a necessity in its additional assessment.
- Citizens of Moldova, Georgia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Albania, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Ukraine who have biometric foreign passports can enter and stay in Bulgaria without a visa for 90 days within 180 day period. Citizens of the above mentioned countries who do not have biometric passports should apply for a Bulgarian visa as per the standard procedure.

Visa Fees
Visa Fees for short term Schengen Visa (Visa C):
- Visa Fee for citizens of Russian Federation and for citizens of countries, which do not have Visa Facilitation Agreement with EU is 90 Euro.
- Visa Fee for citizens of countries, which have Visa Facilitation Agreement with EU is 35 Euro.
VFS service fee for short term Schengen Visa (Visa C):
- In addition to the visa fee, visa centers charge a service fee of 22.8 euros, including VAT, for each application (payment is made in rubles at the exchange rate of the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Russia).
Visa Fee is free for the following categories of applicants:

Photo Specifications
General information
- Photo should be colored, full-faced and without fringing.
- Photo should have been taken within the last six months.
- Each applicant should submit 1 photo along with visa application.
Photo size
- 35 x 45 mm with face centered in the frame
- Head (from the top of the head to the bottom of the chin) should be about 30 mm.
Photo specifications
- Photo should be taken fullface with applicant facing camera directly.
- Face should cover about 70-80% of the photo.
- Photo should be colored and have white or light background. Photos with dark or patterned background will not be accepted.
- Face should be clearly seen. It is preferable to have ears open.
- Sunglasses or other accessories are not acceptable unless required for medical reasons (e.g. eye patch).
- Photo depicting a person wearing a traditional facemask or a veil that does not permit adequate identification is not acceptable.
Please note:
Kindly follow the instructions above. If photos provided do not correspond with the Consulate requirements your application pack will be considered incomplete. In case you do not have an opportunity to make a photo in advance you can do it in visa application center.

Processing Time
Standard visa application processing time is 5 working days exclusive of submission date, means from the date of delivery of application to the Consulate of Bulgaria in Ekaterinburg (processing times of regional applications can vary as it depends of delivery schedule).
Urgent visa processing time is 3 working days exclusive of submission date.
Please note that as per the Agreement between the European Community and the Russian Federation processing time of a visa application can be up to 30 working days, especially if there is a necessity in its additional assessment.

- Each applicant needs to pay service fee in the amount of 14 Euro (inclusive of VAT).
- Both visa and service fees are not refundable.

- Participants of official exchange programs of twin cities
- Participants of youth international sport events and accompanying persons
- Participants of scientific, cultural and artistic activities including university and other exchange programs
- Researchers traveling for the purpose of carrying out scientific research.
* For disabled applicants:
All disabled applicants are exempt from visa and service fees on the basis of disablement certificate issued by the Disability Evaluation Board.
Accompanying persons are exempt from visa and service fees in the following cases only under condition of joint trip and joint submission of visa applications:
- accompanying person for disabled person of group I;
- accompanying person for a disabled child;
- accompanying person for disabled person of group II and III only if there is a certificate from a medical institution proving necessity of accompaniment.
Disabled applicants provided the required certificate from the Disability Evaluation Board who can visit Bulgaria on tourism purpose can apply for double and multi short term visas (both organized and unorganized tourism) with the validity up to 1 year irrespective if they had previous Bulgarian visas or not.
Please note: all the documents for gratis visa must be issued/certified by such state organizations as the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Culture and Sport, the State University etc.

Duration of stay on the territory of Bulgaria cannot exceed 90 days within 180 day period irrespective of visa duration. All the above listed documents are obligatory for submission. - Foreign citizens can apply for Bulgarian visa in case they legally stay on the territory of the Russian Federation on temporary or permanent basis (residence permit or registration for the whole period of visa validity should be provided). Moreover foreign applicants should prove that they legally stay on the territory of the RF with additional documents. Depending on the situation it can be marriage certificate, company registration documents, work permit, patent, etc. It is also required to submit copies of previous Bulgaria and Schengen visas for the last 3 years. Standard processing time is up to 10 days but please note that as per the Agreement between the European Community and the Russian Federation processing time of a visa application can be up to 30 working days, especially if there is a necessity in its additional assessment.
- Citizens of Moldova, Georgia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Albania, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Ukraine who have biometric foreign passports can enter and stay in Bulgaria without a visa for 90 days within 180 day period. Citizens of the above mentioned countries who do not have biometric passports should apply for a Bulgarian visa as per the standard procedure.

Visa Fees
Visa Fees for short term Schengen Visa (Visa C):
- Visa Fee for citizens of Russian Federation and for citizens of countries, which do not have Visa Facilitation Agreement with EU is 90 Euro.
- Visa Fee for citizens of countries, which have Visa Facilitation Agreement with EU is 35 Euro.
VFS service fee for short term Schengen Visa (Visa C):
- In addition to the visa fee, visa centers charge a service fee of 22.8 euros, including VAT, for each application (payment is made in rubles at the exchange rate of the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Russia).
Visa Fee is free for the following categories of applicants:

* For disabled applicants:
All disabled applicants are exempt from visa and service fees on the basis of disablement certificate issued by the Disability Evaluation Board.
Accompanying persons are exempt from visa and service fees in the following cases only under condition of joint trip and joint submission of visa applications:
- accompanying person for disabled person of group I;
- accompanying person for a disabled child;
- accompanying person for disabled person of group II and III only if there is a certificate from a medical institution proving necessity of accompaniment.
Disabled applicants provided the required certificate from the Disability Evaluation Board who can visit Bulgaria on tourism purpose can apply for double and multi short term visas (both organized and unorganized tourism) with the validity up to 1 year irrespective if they had previous Bulgarian visas or not.
Please note: all the documents for gratis visa must be issued/certified by such state organizations as the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Culture and Sport, the State University etc.

All disabled applicants are exempt from visa and service fees on the basis of disablement certificate issued by the Disability Evaluation Board.
Accompanying persons are exempt from visa and service fees in the following cases only under condition of joint trip and joint submission of visa applications:
- accompanying person for disabled person of group I;
- accompanying person for a disabled child;
- accompanying person for disabled person of group II and III only if there is a certificate from a medical institution proving necessity of accompaniment.
Disabled applicants provided the required certificate from the Disability Evaluation Board who can visit Bulgaria on tourism purpose can apply for double and multi short term visas (both organized and unorganized tourism) with the validity up to 1 year irrespective if they had previous Bulgarian visas or not.
Please note: all the documents for gratis visa must be issued/certified by such state organizations as the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Culture and Sport, the State University etc.

Please note that an applicant who submits his/her documents through an authorized representative should prepare this document in advance or provide a power of attorney giving representative a right to sign it on his/her behalf.

Photo Specifications
General information
- Photo should be colored, full-faced and without fringing.
- Photo should have been taken within the last six months.
- Each applicant should submit 1 photo along with visa application.
Photo size
- 35 x 45 mm with face centered in the frame
- Head (from the top of the head to the bottom of the chin) should be about 30 mm.
Photo specifications
- Photo should be taken fullface with applicant facing camera directly.
- Face should cover about 70-80% of the photo.
- Photo should be colored and have white or light background. Photos with dark or patterned background will not be accepted.
- Face should be clearly seen. It is preferable to have ears open.
- Sunglasses or other accessories are not acceptable unless required for medical reasons (e.g. eye patch).
- Photo depicting a person wearing a traditional facemask or a veil that does not permit adequate identification is not acceptable.

Kindly follow the instructions above. If photos provided do not correspond with the Consulate requirements your application pack will be considered incomplete. In case you do not have an opportunity to make a photo in advance you can do it in visa application center.

Processing Time
Standard visa application processing time is 5 working days exclusive of submission date, means from the date of delivery of application to the Consulate of Bulgaria in Ekaterinburg (processing times of regional applications can vary as it depends of delivery schedule).
Urgent visa processing time is 3 working days exclusive of submission date.
Please note that as per the Agreement between the European Community and the Russian Federation processing time of a visa application can be up to 30 working days, especially if there is a necessity in its additional assessment.

Overview
- Currently Bulgaria issues national visas which allow their holders to enter and stay not only in Bulgaria but also in Romania, Croatia and Cyprus. Bulgaria visas do not allow their holders to enter and stay in Schengen countries.
- Bulgaria Visa application center accepts only visa applications for short term visas (C visas). C visas can be one, double and multiple entry. Duration of stay on the territory of Bulgaria cannot exceed 90 days within 180 day period irrespective of visa duration. All the above listed documents are obligatory for submission. Incomplete application package cannot be accepted.
Visa application can be submitted in person, by close relative or by representative:
- In Person (adult applicants only)
- It is necessary to provide internal passport.
- By close relative
Close relatives include spouses, parents, children (including adopted), grandparents, grandchildren. Sisters and brothers as well as other relatives can submit visa applications for each other only based on notarized power of attorney.
Your close relative should provide the following documents:
- Internal passport in original + copy of information page;
- Documents proving relationship: birth certificate, marriage certificate, divorce certificate, name change certificate issued by the Civil Registry Office. Marriage stamp in internal passport as well as information about children are not considered proof of relationship. All certificates should be provided in original or notarized copy. Moreover copies of these documents should be also provided.
- By representative:
- on the basis of notarized power of attorney
Your representative should provide the following documents:
- Internal passport in original + copy of information page;
- Notarized power of attorney for submission documents (original + copy); it should clearly states that authorized representative (full name) is eligible to submit visa application for Bulgaria visa in the Consulate of Bulgaria (or in Bulgaria visa application center).
Power of attorney should contain full name of applicant(s). There should not be any mistakes or corrections. Visa application cannot be accepted without original of power of attorney.
- on the basis of corporate power of attorney (only for business/service/sport/culture purpose of travel)
The power of attorney should be on a headed paper, with a stamp and signature of the head of the company which sends you on a trip. The power of attorney should also contain your passport details and passports details of your colleague who will submit visa application on your behalf.
Your representative should provide the following documents:
- Internal passport in original + copy of information page;
- Power of attorney for document submission (original + copy); visa application will not be accepted without original of power of attorney;
- Certificate of employment (if this is not stated in power of attorney).
- Citizens of those countries who need a visa to visit Bulgaria can also enter the country using valid Schengen visa, Cyprus, Romania or Croatia visa. Number of entries and period of stay will correspond with the ones stated in these visas but not more than 90 days in 180 day period. If applicant still wants to apply documents for Bulgaria visa, visa application centers will accept them.

- You can also enter Bulgaria using valid visa issued in his/her revoked passport on condition that new international passport is also presented. You can enter Bulgaria using Bulgaria, Schengen, Romania, Croatia or Cyprus (except for pro-visas) visa. If applicant wants a visa to be issued in his/her new valid passport visa application center can accept application together with a revocation form and a revoked passport.
- Foreign citizens can apply for Bulgarian visa in case they legally stay on the territory of the Russian Federation on temporary or permanent basis (residence permit or registration for the whole period of visa validity should be provided). Moreover foreign applicants should prove that they legally stay on the territory of the RF with additional documents. Depending on the situation it can be marriage certificate, company registration documents, work permit, patent, etc. It is also required to submit copies of previous Bulgaria and Schengen visas for the last 3 years. Standard processing time is up to 10 days but please note that as per the Agreement between the European Community and the Russian Federation processing time of a visa application can be up to 30 working days, especially if there is a necessity in its additional assessment.
- Citizens of Moldova, Georgia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Albania, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Ukraine who have biometric foreign passports can enter and stay in Bulgaria without a visa for 90 days within 180 day period. Citizens of the above mentioned countries who do not have biometric passports should apply for a Bulgarian visa as per the standard procedure.

- Each applicant needs to pay service fee in the amount of 14 Euro ( excluding VAT).
- Both visa and service fees are not refundable.
