How To Apply

SUBMIT YOUR DOCUMENTS

After identifying the applicable type of visa and gathered all the required documents, you must deliver your file to the application center as per your jurisdiction by courier or at a scheduled time, as below:

Documents delivery by courier:

Verify your jurisdiction (check jurisdiction here) and send your application by courier with ALL the listed items below:

  • 2 photocopies of the checklist duly filled.
  • The visa application form totally filled and duly signed.
  • All documents indicated in the corresponding checklist. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
  • Payment receipt with Consular fees and VFS fees.

    Send all original payment receipts. Photocopies will not be accepted.

  • Original passport: This will be kept during the whole analysis process.
  • Consent Form

After collecting all items above, identify the application center in order to deliver your application checking addresses and jurisdiction Visa applications from families must be sent in a single envelope. Once verified, follow steps below:

  1. Download the form and 2 copies of the checklist according to the visa type to be required and fill them digitally or by hand, using a black-ink pen.
  2. Pay your visa fees, service fees and passport return by courier fee as per instructions in the option “Consular Fees” of your visa type, and the option additional services, directly in the bank agency or PIX.

    Do not use ATM’s and/or other bank transfer as a payment mode as these are not accepted by VFS Global.

  3. Make sure that the documentation is complete and that the application forms are filled. Send your completed and signed form, along with your valid passport, applicable documents, photographs according to mandatory specifications and original bank payment receipts (Visa Fee, Service Fee, SMS and Courier) in a sealed envelope to the Visa Application Center, as per your jurisdiction.

    All documents must be sent in the exact order of the lists, previously signed, printed on A4 white paper only in front, without staples, clips, post-its or cover sheets.

    Note: Before sending your visa application, please read carefully the Privacy Policy.

  4. If you do not receive any tracking email or information about your application within 15 days of your submission at the Visa Application Center, please contact the office to which you sent your application:

    When contacting, make sure of sending:

    • Full name;
    • Date of birth;
    • Contact details, such a telephone number and email
    • Courier tracking number of your envelope;
    • Date of delivery of your application;

    Important notice:

    • With the exception of your passport, no documents will be returned after the completion of your analysis, so make sure you have copies of all items delivered for yourself.
    • If you submit a file with any non-conformities, VFS will contact the applicant by e-mail and your application will remain at the Visa Application Center for a period of 10 working days, awaiting pending documentation. After this period your request will be returned to the sender's address.
    • For your convenience you can choose the SMS service. Through the SMS service you will automatically receive a message on your cell phone, informing your tracking number as soon as your process is entered in our system. You will also track the sending of all your documents to the consulate and when your process returns finished. Add the amount of 12,66 BRL to your deposit to purchase this additional service.

Documents submission with scheduled appointment:

If you decide to visit one of the Visa Application Centers, make sure of having all following documents:

  • 2 photocopies of the checklist duly filled.
  • The visa application form totally filled and duly signed.

    The form might be filled directly in the appointment day with our assistance for form filling service.

  • Pictures

    The pictures can be taken as per mandatory consular specifications directly in the appointment day with with pur photo service.

  • All documents indicated in the corresponding checklist. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
  • Original passport: This will be kept during the whole analysis process.
  • Consent Form

After collecting all items above, identify the application center in order to deliver your application checking addresses and jurisdiction .

  1. Read the Privacy Policy
  2. Gather all requested documents in the checklist of the visa to apply for. Inconplete applications will not be accepted.
  3. Make an appointment to submit your documents by clicking here .
  4. Show up on the scheduled date 15 minutes in advance with all the required documents.

  5. The applicable fees may be paid by credit and debit card directly on the day of your booking. Or if you prefer, they can be deposited directly into our VFS Global account.

Important notice:

  • With the exception of your passport, no documents will be returned after the completion of your analysis, so make sure you have copies of all items delivered for yourself.
  • Do not use ATM’s and/our bank transfer as a payment mode as these are not accepted by VFS Global.
  • The Visa Application Center does not accept cash as payment mode.
  • Accompanying persons shall be allowed only in cases of applicants who are minors or have special needs
